I does look like there is a rigid brace along the bottom but nothing at the top. But if it was a banner there is no way you could get it that taught along the top without another brace. I'll ask what they think it is. I wanted to check here first.

I just noticed that the cheap fish scale I bought from Wal-Mart is the same as in the video.

Ok I cobbled together a gauge. Used a thin piece of plastic from some packaging and a fish scale. Tried it at work today and at full pressure as per the video it didn't slide at all. Maybe the plastic is too thick but maybe my pressure is way too much.

I can only assume that xacto knifes are used somewhere in the packaging process but whats alarming is that it got past their metal detectors. Every How Its Made or Unwrapped shows the packages going through a detector.

Also wanted to add I'm in the same boat. I contacted RS about getting a scale and no response. I also need some replacement parts like the 3" fittings that hold on to the rolls and a new knife.

I'm going over some of my old threads and thought a follow up would help anyone else who reads this. The 3M SCPS-55 tape is working perfectly. It sticks to the 680 CR release paper better the then vinyl does.

I think the cost just has to sink in a bit and we will most likely get it.
