  1. Shipping large cut vinyl

Not exactly since they are also cut from a larger sheet. We would have to cut apart the pieces and then trim the release paper to get that 1/2" overlap.
  2. Shipping large cut vinyl

Don't have that luxury. I do 20 or 30 per sheet and then have to slice them up into individual pieces.

  5. client supplied vinyl absolutely ruins her car..

Totally out there idea. Could the glitter have acted like tiny lenses that only attacked the color coat. Notice how its only on the top of the surfaces. Is this in a super sunny climate like Arizona? I once bought some clear suction cups and they made a big deal on the package that they...
  6. Shipping large cut vinyl

Ok no that I have some ideas for taping I've now got to ship these decals. I can ship most flat in box but I have one decal thats 28 by 65 and kind of triangular in shape. Its 3M 680 CR reflective. If you have never worked with it its a major pain. The vinyl is super thick and barely wants to...

Somewhere there is a technique using double sided scotch tape for when you have lam with a thin backing like on say Oracal 295 Optically clear (?). I'll try to find it.
  15. Cutting in to equal size sheets

Just about to post this question. I can't think of any printer besides the roland or mimaki type that I have that will print on the material they use. Is there paper "decal" material in rolls. I've only seen the stuff Avery sells in, well for my area, 8.5 x 11 sheets. 25 or so years ago I...

  18. Illustrator for Vinyl Cutting Questions

What's the line look like when you zoom all the way in? It could be that these are files that are vectorized and instead of getting smooth curves you have short straight line segments. Most lines will have only a few points along it using math to make the curves.
  19. How to use printer/cutter as vinyl cutter?

That how we did it for years before we got separate machines. In versaworks I setup Queue A defaults for print cut and Queue B as cut only.
  20. scammer alert

Something like they insist you only use their shipper and of course they only take western union money orders, but they tell you just use the soon to be found out bogus/stolen CC . So instead of just being out some materials you are out real cash when you get the charge back.
