Not exactly since they are also cut from a larger sheet. We would have to cut apart the pieces and then trim the release paper to get that 1/2" overlap.
Thanks for proper premask. I once tried to figure what exactly to use and got lost on the 3M website.
I just ordered 2 rolls to go with the 5 rolls of 680CR. Biggest vinyl order i have ever placed.
Totally out there idea.
Could the glitter have acted like tiny lenses that only attacked the color coat. Notice how its only on the top of the surfaces. Is this in a super sunny climate like Arizona?
I once bought some clear suction cups and they made a big deal on the package that they...
Ok no that I have some ideas for taping I've now got to ship these decals.

What's the line look like when you zoom all the way in?
It could be that these are files that are vectorized and instead of getting smooth curves you have short straight line segments. Most lines will have only a few points along it using math to make the curves.
Something like they insist you only use their shipper and of course they only take western union money orders, but they tell you just use the soon to be found out bogus/stolen CC . So instead of just being out some materials you are out real cash when you get the charge back.
