  2. Edge FX (what do guys mean when they say HDHD?)

Here's one from the sportsdecals.com website the OP mentioned... http://www.sportdecals.com/index/page/product/product_id/4060/product_name/HDHD+Custom+Batter+Helmet+Decals The only things that come to mind when I think of "HD" are terms like High Density, High Definition... Beats me what...
  3. Floor graphics questions

I have found that as well, that it is quite expensive here. And so far... unless I am mistaken or have forgotten, but there is only one distributor in Canada so far isn't there? I really want to try it and offer it... but I find it pricey...
  4. Floor graphics questions

Have you checked out Alumigraphics? I've been eyeballing this stuff, and have heard decent things about it. Probably the Alumigraphics Grip is the one you'd want? I'm only speculating of course... I haven't ordered a roll yet... but intend on trying some out in the next few weeks!
  5. Selling Vehicle Wraps in Canada

I've always had good luck with the classification code 3926.90.30.00 described as "Signs - letters and numerals, plastics and other materials" for my rolled vinyls and laminates I import.
  6. Shout Out To Gino

I didn’t miss that part at all. I don’t know what the issues were behind the scenes and since I don’t know, I’m reserving any sort of judgment about if it was right or wrong. BUT… regardless of what they are… my point is that half measures seem so “Because I can” to me, and I don’t consider it...
  7. Shout Out To Gino

Fred, With all due respect, I too tend to stay removed from these sorts of discussions… but I have to say I find some irony and possibly some hypocrisy in the fact your signature says “I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.” Yet, you’ve taken away...
  8. hello from canada

    Welcome from New Brunswick!
  9. Perf Cut with Coral X6 setup and questions

I've used it a few times. It's hit or miss... it takes a bit of messing around and wasted material to get the perfect settings for any particular media type. It does eat blades and the teflon strips fairly quickly. When I do a run of 4 or 500 small pieces, it's quite handy. But on single one...
  10. New XF-640 Banding Issue

Thanks Andrew! Yes... my dealer has been excellent helping me out today, working through different items. I do believe he is now working with someone at Roland for a solution, as him and I haven't been able to determine the issue with everything we have tried.
  11. Need a good uploader

media fire.com has some good options... a few bucks a month and you get a decent amount of storage and you can embed a public upload in your site
  12. New XF-640 Banding Issue

Unfortunately I tried Uni-directional with multi profiles and medias... identical results.
  13. New XF-640 Banding Issue

Good Morning Everyone! So, I’ve got a new Roland XF-640. Aside from a few feed calibrations when it was setup, all the test images from the Versaworks RIP appeared to print fine. Being just over a week old and finally having some time to work with it, I’m now trying to linearize, calibrate...

  15. PDF Files - Convert Fonts to Curves

    Very nice! Thanks for sharing!
  16. Bluetooth Printer For Mac Suggestions

I've been using the Brother MFC-9330CDW for awhile now, and like it. It's fairly inexpensive to run for a color laser, it's wireless (not bluetooth though) and has AirPrint for my iOS devices.
  17. Another Versaworks Question...

You can select the items you want to move... and move them manually. For example, take your last row of 4 and select only those. Holding the shift when clicking selects them with a blue outline. You can then manually drag a larger space between them. Holding Ctrl appears to keep them in line...
  18. Soljet xf-640

Mine seemed to do this a lot until I updated to the most recent firmware. Install Rolands on-support and make sure it has the newest firmware. I may take care of the "sheet too small" problem.
  19. Gold Leaf + iPhone

I was wondering the same! That and I wouldn't want to try and peel that back off...
