If you went with a new Roland, they range from $4K to $6k depending on the size... see the link. http://rolanddga.com/products/cutters/gxpro/ Add me to the Roland list... all the ones I've owned have been rock solid!

  5. POLL: File Transfers

I've had good luck with mediafire lately... premium accounts are only $2.99/m and they have a nice embeddable code for clients to upload easy... very similar to most services, but it works well so far!

  12. Confusing Corel question .

Possibly, unless you do have a stray object you are grabbing before you export... it's the "EPS Margin" setting in Versaworks thats the issue. If you print the file, it should be the correct, even though in versaworks the dimensions displayed have changed. In your versaworks queue settings...

Fairly close actually... but not quite the same. The tops of the caps R and P for example are rounded, Gill Sans is flat...
  17. What's the original font?

So I have this font... called Neotrash, but the "underlying" font lets call it... the origin, looks SO familiar. I see uppercase letters such as "R" & "S", and lower case letters such as the "b" & "d" that have a distinct look to a commonly known/used font, but for the life of me, I can't name...
  18. How hard is it to take my money?

I am looking for a bunch of new equipment, and in the last few months, I don't know how many times I have said "I have never had such a hard time spending money". Customer service, in my opinion, is a lost art in most places. I was looking for a printer/cutter/laminator ... +/- $50k... and 3...
  19. Material needed for sign for gas station canopy

Looking a little closer, although hard to see in the photo... It appears to be a frameless flex retainer. Although quite possibly a retainer and polycarbonate... At that size I'd suspect flex... Where I used to work we did lots of canopies for enterprise, Ultramar, etc... And I can only think...
