I replied to your other thread, this is (new) operator error I believe. ;)
Heck, ours like this has been here a year or so and I never even realized it was like this as I've never used it; I've only ever used the 563th models.
If that's the same one we use a masking machine I just asked and looked and only one "end" of the machines is keyed and the other end is not keyed.
The rolls have the matching tab at either end so they can load either way.
Put the roll tab into the keyed end and then put it into the non-keyed...
I like iStock and Adobe for stock images, but without Gigapixel AI also incorporated into that we'd have a lot more issues sourcing imagery for larger prints.
Heck, I also use Vecteezy a lot for simple vector art and pieces that I incorporate into designs.

Have a customer with a truck that they take to events, wanting to be able to graffiti the truck at each event.... and then be able to have a clean slate again (easily) for the next event.
Any thoughts on wrap laminates this would be possible with? (I'm assuming none will work)

I have not had issues with black 1080/2080 matching up, but we have had a good deal of issues matching up reds and other colors. They have to be from the same lot number or they are VERY different sometimes if you're doing full wraps of things like trailers. (I'm looking at YOU Hot Rod Red!)...
Nozzles dropping out are usually caused (here) by the printer needing cleaned. If you're cleaning the head and caps correctly and keeping your maintenance kits replaced correctly this shouldn't be an issue.
After you sort that out, which by the way is NOT causing the lawnmower looking banding...
I would call this distributor and see who they can refer you to locally to have it printed. That quote is just a "go away" quote and in no way reasonable.
