I have been noticing that my new Latex may not print as crisp as I'd like.
Using a IJ180C with the stock mode and 10 pass.
Is there a way to crank the quality up on this thing? I'm looking to really show it off but so far most colors really look washed out.
Running Onyx10.1
60" L25500 driven by Flexi10
54" roll...verifyed on the rip preview/settings and the printer itself.
Print still cuts off on the right side as if I told it it was a 60" printer.
Any guesses?
Did all of the cleaning (including the nozzle wash with cleaning cartridges)
There is completely no orange in either head firing. Sounds like too good of a coincedence for both heads to be dry in same spot.

I use a PC strictly for work for Onyx and the enterprise software my company uses;
My personal computer is a 27" iMac. I dual boot Windows 7 and MacOS and have no reason to compare. Both OS's have different uses for me, which both excel at.

I have heard issues like this on Mimaki's where a hair or strand of scrim from banner or something got onto the capping station and created a siphoning effect.
Check the damper for ink and examine the ink lines above head and below capping station for air leaks.
3 min nozzle wash wouldn't do much, I would do the max (99) and see if that helps recover at all.
Looks like it could be a scratch or damage right down the middle of that head.
But the best way is to give that head a nice nozzle bath for 99mins 2-3 times.
If there is some recovery, keep doing it. If not, looks like its time for a new head.
Actually from that quote it sounds like you won't be working for 3M at all, but 3M would help facilitate more business by offering it at the dealership level.
I don't see why people are revolting against 3M...if anything I think it will help drive the wrap business.
