  3. Guitarists - Gear

BTW Check out the video for "another brick in the wall", I love covering that song, there are quite a few mistakes in that performance but it was fun (that was a longgggg night, sister-in-law got married and I was TANKED, managed to stay upright for most of the night.) :rock-n-roll: and yes...
  4. Guitarists - Gear

Wow, old thread..... hey my band just finished up our CD (demo somewhat). Check it out at http://www.myspace.com/bitterrise I play rhythm guitar/backing vocals. We have been gigging quite a bit the past 6 months. Just got to play a couple of shows (South Bend and Indy, IN) with some national...
  5. Convex Pan face

maybe Hendricks could do this as well http://hvfi.com/
  6. something quick

hideous, sorry, but it needs a lot more than a new font and a border. Scrap it, look at some other logo examples and try again. edit: I would never use a photo in a logo
  7. A Couple Lobby Posters & Flyers

I didn't even read them because they were too busy, no rhythm, just a bunch of words typed out on a busy background.... also don't really like the choices of color
  8. Home Made vinyl Rack

For about $15-$20/ea you can make some like what I have, each rack holds 17 rolls (30") or 34 rolls (15") and I also have a couple I made for 24" rolls. Cheap plywood, roofing battens, and a box of screws. I like them because they are against the wall and take up none of my floor space.
  9. Not sure what to charge

That sounds like trouble to me.... you have already completed the vans and customer did not get a quote from you FIRST? I would be around $800/ea
  10. dimensional awning sign

Wow, that looks great. Awesome work
  11. Zoning Ordinance a little strict?

If it were my son, we would have then went through the process of setting up his business and put up the largest sign allowed.
  12. Anyone use GAME sportswear and have a contact phone #?

I am trying to register as a dealer and would like to have a phone number to reach them at, but their website has NONE.
  13. Zoning Ordinance a little strict?

Might as well learn the reality of entrepreneurship while you're young. I think it's a little ridiculous myself. http://www.informationliberation.com/index.php?id=14398
  14. oracal 3651 backlit sign

if you want it to look like ass, then it is a great idea Even regular opaque vinyl will not show the color well and will look very dark
  15. Fellers Ordering

Bob nailed it on the head.... if you know what you want, you're pretty much good to go. Though I got a new rep on the phone the other day and mannn was she slowwwww. Didn't know much about anything in their catalog. She said she was new so I was very patient with her. Otherwise, I usually...
  16. A hand routered coffee sign

looks nice, but the edges look all chewed up, notably the bottom edge of the "C"
  17. Cutawl Project

    That is very cool!
  18. help with logo

Looking better each time you post. Red and black can work together, if done properly. l would do some more reading and look at hundreds of other logos. A little later you will want to buy some good fonts too (signfonts.com or letterheadfonts.com are good places to start).
  19. Possibly the craziest music video I've ever seen.

    check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8BWBn26bX0
  20. help with logo

okay, still a far cry from a professional looking logo, but you certainly took a step in the right direction. You have two of the best graphic designers in the industry (Rick and Dan) giving you very valuable advice, hell, Dan wrote the book(s) for crying out loud. I would take notes and...
