... actually, solvent inks have slightly WIDER color gamut then traditional offset prints. So, U might get better results if You prepare for print in RGB mode, and then try using color profiles to get the most out of it (so - machine will transform Your colors to a closer match).

Oh, and I forgot: here, with discounts I get vp540 400 euros cheaper than cjv30-160. VP540V - 15500 euros, CJV30-160 15900 euros (1euro is around 0.78 bucks now, I think). It is pretty big difference in width, both for print and cut, and can be crutial sometimes. And, U get more options to use...
