Long time back I had seen a youtube of something they were working on to correct a photo that had blurr from moving the camera.
Is this out yet. I pay the monthly fee but mainly only use photoshop and illusrtator and my updates are up to date for those.
Someone had told me it was. Am I...
Great to see you were able to get things working.
What I would watch for with the Lyson 2000 inks is the feel of dried ink in the drain lines and causing a blockage. I used to have to flush cleaning fluid through the drain lines every day before I started up the printer just to make sure the...
What firmware version are you on? I am running on 4.4
Also I used to run a Nazdar (lyson 2000) inks set but found it to dry up easily in the drain lines and heads. Rolands is much better for that and you can leave the printer off for a much longer period with minor issues. If you were using the...
Some times with new carts there can be a draw caused by the cart and it will suck ink back into itself or a cart that is almost empty can do a similar thing and even suck ink from another color if the heads are parked on the capping station and the white sponge touches the heads. I like to use...
Don't do your test print from a Rip, use the test print button on the printer. This will print the 6 colors and you can then see what jets are working. You will see missing bars in the test print and that will show blocked jets. I assume all the dampers are about half full of ink?
Draw ink...
I just went through this myself. A year or so back I tried my first pair of progressives and when I tried them on the center view area was clear and looked good but if I panned my eyes ever so slightly to the right it was massive blurr. Although to the left I could move them a lot further...
One thing that I would add is that some of the stronger solvent inks that may be better for scratch resistance may also tend to clog up your print head or drain lines more easily if you are not running the printer every day. Also they may be harder on parts as well and tend to stink a lot more...
This is the link to the one I made a couple years back. (I guess its been 4 years ago...... where did the time go.....)

Only change I have made was added the extra 5 lbs...
Same reason here as well. There are times when doing a double strike the logo colors come out way darker and do not match the actual original color they want.
For basic signage where matching color is not needed it would be fine.
I just like the idea of what we can do here. The other day someone converted a Corel file for me and today I was able to convert a file for someone else.
Pay it forward....
Also it may be more work sending the $5 than the actual $5 cost. Now if there are other things they do for you...
Did you try to just open a new doc. Then place the file with the link box checked. After that flatten transparency and move the slider on vectors to 100% and check convert text to outlines.
I have some CS6 files that I just tried to open in CS2 and it worked.
Ok that makes sense.
At some time I still want to try printing the clear layer with registration marks and then laminate that layer once dry, with the 3850 trans, and then send that back through the printer for a 2nd print. You would think that the registration marks would allow for any...
Seeing you've answered the OP's question already I am going to jump in as ask one on the printed version.
I see a lot will do the same as I am doing now with printing original file on Trans 3850 and a 2nd print on clear. This is where I differ. I have tended to print the clear copy regular and...
Yes, Phillip does some great stuff.
We are small town here so it does not take long for people to find out where something was done anyway, but the newspaper also had a nice blurb on the trail signs as well.
Long time coming shout out to Phillip (Sign Amigo).
Phillip designed the main trail sign on top and this allowed me to use that same look for the history and map signs below. I would have never thought one could create such a great layout from a vector of a jogging Blue Herron.
There were...
