    As I read it the job is for window graphics and if this the case it may matter. Translucent is usually backlit or windows and yes it would matter unless the customer is satisfied with a 4 year product which is a pretty good time frame for a window graphic in most cases.

    Good point Bill, a lustre may be an option if that is the finish the customer wants. Isn't that Briteline UV a 4 year product? He may need a 7 year laminate to match the 3850's 7 year rating.

    LED replacement for flourescent lamps

    Call your local EM Plastic or ND Graphics location for GE. ND also sells Allanson. I use to sell them when I worked for EM. If you are retrofitting from lamps you should be able use the sockets and wire in the power supplies after you remove the lamps and ballasts.

    Glad it worked out for you. It appears the bubble free/air egress adhesives take some time to wet put on the surface due to the channels.

    Just curious here, how did it adhere to the sealed surface? Some of those sealants may have products that bead water and may cause adhesion issues.
