Hello I met this problem so many times... I guess you're in the same situation. It's not the blade, it's the encoder strip. Try to clean it and then tell me the result. If you need another encoder strip, just ask and I can tell you where you can find a new one.

In Romania the producers calculate the material 1-2 Euro. The costs for printing with Original ink depends on the quality of the print and is somewhere between 2.8 - 4,5 Euro / square meter. If you use third party inks, in much cheaper. So the production costs are somewhere between 5-6.5 Euros...

You should try.. To measure the fuses F1,F2 and F3 placed on the Head Board. Replace those fuses and if it still doesn't work, you should replace the C4131 transistor TR 2SC4131 GB on the Head Board coresponding to B and C group. It's 15 Euros per piece. Then the printer will work for sure...

Robert is right It's hard to belive that both cyan and magenta cap tops and dampers are broken :Oops:. So you have a problem with the fuse on the main board. If you need further information, just ask. I also have a service manual for XC 540.

Well.. This problem appeared when you switched the ink or you met this problem before?? For another type of ink then ESL-Max you should make an ICC profile for all the materials you use. Use EYE1 for this process. Triangle pigments are very strong, especially Magenta and Cyan.

Don't think so.. Hi, I think this is the only way to laminate. First : print with crop marks. Second : laminate. Third : cut only.
