My guess is that the move wasn't in the contract. I don't care for ADT for other reasons but if you took a salesguy's word for something instead of reading the contract you were asking for it. Nor is it their fault that you want to move to a location that they can't service.
When is this dumb fad going to burn out anyway? At least the old time flames had a design element to them, these flame jobs just look like the vehicle is burning. How did that get to be appealing?

I can't eat the stuff, it honestly makes me feel ill. I lived in the south and had the real deal, no way is that stuff authentic. I'm not even sure it's chicken!
I guess I'll be the evil one to wonder out loud what some people are doing in the sign/graphics business. We all are naturally better at some things, why not pick what suits you as a profession?

There's always a fine line in this kind of business. I told a long time customer's employee that we didn't do that kind of work when she started sending me her signs designs, they looked terrible to me (it was a bit more diplomatic than that but...). Reputations are a hard thing to change. Well...
If they just want some clip art I'll add it on for a fee. If they want to then use that as a logo, it's fine with me, I have no invested interest. If they want me to send them artwork, we get back to the fee thingy, which equals what I charge for logos.
I nip those in the bud by telling them that we don't do the cheapest work in town. One gal asked me "why"? I guess she thought everyone was the cheapest in town.
