You are right! The profile is printing 16 passes. What other things can I try? I don't usually mess w/ the profiles. Would increasing the max ink limit help the issue? Right now the percentages are75c, 100m, 100y, 80k w/ 200% max ink limit.

Well, I tried 2 pass. It laid down so much ink it was almost pooling on the media. Any suggestions? Please help. :thankyou:

It only does 1 pass, so I looked at doing 2 passes. It double the the ink consumption shown on versaworks. Is that going to make the ink real heavy on the print?

i had this problem when i first started w/ mine. 1. make sure you have 4-5" of material beyond your registration dots.(both ends) 2. load the material straight using the groove on front of machine. 3. scroll your cut head over to where the dot is. i position directly above for alignment...

Is there a way to take a graphic w/ some simple shading and make it so the half-tone dots would cut to show the shading? I'm working in illustrator and would cut either from versaworks or flexi. Thanks.

My default was set to 40/40. I was having an issue w/ my vinyl developing a wave in it that would come and go throughout a print causing some uneven color. I changed mine to 38/38 and it went away. Amazing how 2 degrees can make a difference.

not familiar w/ an i1, is that a densitometer? I do have a densitometer for our printing presses that measure cmyk ink densities.

These are Process color swatches that are still used and are built in to Adobe products like Illustrator and In-design. i don't use these but they were there. Assuming the colors were a pale yellow & a sort teal blue? Here are the cmyk values for each DS231-3: 80,5,5,30 DS303-3: 15,0,75,30

Lg 3910m I've just started using the LG 3910 Matte after finishing a roll of the 3810M. No complaints so far and much prefer it to the 3810 i was using. The 3910 has much less curl than the 3810. I'm using the LP3912G laminate w/ it.
