The original fan selection is a ridiculous choice by Epson. Twin 25mm fans at 10,000rpm. I've moved to 40mm fans which push just as much air at only 4500rpm and are practically 0dB at idle. I custom designed a 40mm to 25mm adapter and 3D printed it with resin and installed in around 15 mins.
I have a fix for the fan issue... been working perfectly for 4 years. Zero noise when printer is asleep. If you're down this way at any point let me know and you can pop in for a visit.
Never had a BN20 but it should be similar to the VS series. They usually connect at the top end to the captop where the head sits. The other ends go to the waste ink pump.
Epson S60600 will do all of the above... quickly and with color consistency. Official dry time of 4-6 hours, but we've laminated straight off the machine without issues. The printer should come bundled with a dryer unit unlike the 40600 and 80600.
LF refers to polyethylene coated "Lay Flat" liner instead of normal kraft paper. Face films are the same.

We stand ours vertically on a steel rack and unwind the roll a bit so each layer has some exposed area for the solvents to 'fall' out (solvents are heavier than air, so travel downward).
Just found this in the service manual:
Regarding meniscus, I don't have a manual for the 4xx series on hand. 3xx series it's around 12 and 5xx series is around 16. Maybe 19 is correct for the 4xx series, but I can't confirm.
Bulletin 1147 attached.
Wrong and wrong... sorry you've been fed incorrect information.
Have you ever replaced the white filter next the the valves at the top of the carriage? A blocked one of those will cause dripping.
Also, that meniscus value seems too high... possibly to mask the problem of dripping ink.
White...
Not sure if it's available where you are, but Hexis do an antimicrobial laminate for situations like this:

Other than that, I'd probably laminate with an anti-graffiti laminate as they should withstand the constant cleaning.
Those figures don't account for the inrush current when the machine is first turned on and the heaters are trying their hardest to warm up.
We tried a UPS on our 80600 which exceeded the factory figures by some margin, however the initial power up of the machine sucks a lot more juice than they...
You need to be on 10.2.5 or higher:

Which model do you have?
If you're going to laminate with matte laminate, print the job in gloss mode. Some brands of material don't stick properly to Colorado matte mode prints.
