We bought ours used for around USD$5k, but it needed 2 new sensors so it ended up closer to $7k and has run flawlessly for the last 2 years. Worth every single cent.
Just ripped this in our Onyx and it's claiming the exact same CMYK values for both blues.
I'll see if I can do a test print tomorrow and see what happens.
None. The machine will prompt you every 3-4 weeks for a manual cleaning which takes about 5 minutes which just involves cleaning around the outside of the heads and the cap tops.
You should also shake the inks every 2-3 weeks to prevent pigment sediment. They are extremely easy machines to keep...
What are your heat settings like? The dot gain looks weird on some of these photos.
And re-asking as ColorCrest has... what resolution/passes are you printing these samples at?
The black lines and text in the Roland color chart sample doesn't look crisp/clear. Apart from the dithering issues...
It's something added to the vinyl to make it more flexible. Plasticizer migration is when it starts to seep out of the vinyl. It make prints look like oily pools usually.

Leave it for a couple of days. They will disappear with time.
We laminated with some 12 mil last week and it needed a couple of days to settle. Even with heat assist, because the laminate is so thick and is on the rollers for such a short amount of time, the adhesive has no real time to warm up...
Looks direct UV printed on the top of the acrylic to me. Nothing challenging there.
There is an LED strip underneath on the far side (motherboard) to light it up. Plenty of pics/videos out there about these.
The Mimaki UJF-3042 is probably the smallest machine available that can do these.
You...
Yes, using RGB files you will get brighter colours, so that should help with your reds. To be honest, your greens look very good, so I'm not sure you'll get any closer.
We print RGB 255,0,0 to get the brightest possible reds.
You're never going to achieve a green that vibrant without a dedicated green ink channel, which the S80 doesn't have.
You should be able to get a little bit closer to the Honda red though. I'm pretty sure we've matched it before on some jobs.
