  1. Math problem....

The problem I see is you don't need the area of the object, you would need a straight line between the bottom two points as I interpreted. My local city allows you to draw up to 8 straight lines when figuring the square footage of a shape.
  2. Outdoor Palight PVC Primer

If I'm painting latex as a finish coat, I use Sherwin Williams primer. If I'm using Urethane, I spray typical autobody urethane build primer.
  3. Universal Brand Silver Metallic Pinstripe...

I don't have any to compare, but check it against Avery. I think Universal uses some Avery, but I could be dead wrong, so don't quote me on that.
  4. Wrap material alternatives (the saga continues July 2022)

I remember the non RA stuff, but the first version of 3951RA was very aggressive and got kinda gummy no matter how long I outgassed before laminating. That is what I am hoping is better now.
  5. Wrap material alternatives (the saga continues July 2022)

3751RA with Proslide was my go to for the past couple of years, mainly because that's what my supplier had. I really started liking it, but it has since been discontinued. I just got a roll of 3951RA with proslide but haven't tried it yet. The 3951 from years ago was no fun to work with, but...
  6. Track saw or panel saw

I think the 860TCGS is what I'm using, but not 100% positive and the numbers are wore off. https://safetyspeed.com/products/machines/sign-cutting-machines/rolled-substrate-cutter/saw-blade-for-vertical-panel-saws/
  7. Track saw or panel saw

I don't back it with anything. The blade I use is (I think) 80 tooth and specific for acrylic. So far so good. I have busted a corner here and there before the panel saw using the skil saw, so I know how irritating and easy it can happen.
  8. Track saw or panel saw

+1 for Safety Speed Cut. I am on my second one, (both second hand) and now have the 61" model. I do cut a lot of acrylic on mine, and it does fantastic. I have no issues with the precision of it, but I do get a second set of hands for anything over 10'. I primarily cut ACM, but I do a fair...
  9. Blacking out existing acrylic faces (what paint?)

So just to clarify, these faces are embossed, pan faces. I totally agree that if they get painted, they are unusable for future use, but these particular faces won't be reused. The company that hired me to paint them (and remove all other signage) said black, so I'm going black. Usually when...
  10. Blacking out existing acrylic faces (what paint?)

So I am about to go paint some faces for a debranding job. Honestly, I have seen it done a lot but never done it myself. I have flipped, stripped, removed or swapped them with ACM, but have never painted them. The faces in question need to be painted. What kind of paint do I use? Maybe I am...
  11. Looking for a sign co in TN

Tubelite used to be my go to for changeable lettering. Their branch in Memphis was closest to me.
  12. Playbill Looking font

Does anyone happen to know this one? Picky customer, playbill wasn't close enough, plus the 3 was different anyway. Thanks, Chase
  13. Gbc titan 165: out of control, unresponsive

Make sure the run button isn't stuck. Is the speed control knob responsive?
  14. letters coming up on the weed

A welded font is a curve, so you are good there. The fillet/scallop.chamfer is one of the dockers that you pull out from the Dockers menu under the windows tab. Select all of the nodes, select your size and hit apply.
  15. Looking for ACM/Polymetal

I have 3mm for days. 1/4 brushed is a rare critter. To my knowledge, none of my usual vendors stock it. I have the Alucobond plant one county over, but that isn't very beneficial like it used to be.
  16. Health Issues and Vinyl?

I'm not downplaying your concerns, but there are many on this forum that sit next to multiple printers every day, all day with seemingly no issue, spraying more ink in an hour that you probably do in a week. Also, I agree, the ink is the concern, not the vinyl in most cases.
  17. Interesting business opportunity

I feel like it's a recipe for a bunch of last minute orders. A lot of people source them online these days, so if they miss that window, they are coming to you in a pinch. If they have 3 employees total, even if two of them are not hitting it real hard, maybe there is enough business there to...
  18. Little help with script font

I don't know how you stay so current with fonts, but I can't tell you how much I appreciate you and Tiki and some of the others.
  19. Little help with script font

Does anyone recognize this one? If not a font, what about something close? Thanks!
  20. Need a KTM SX 125 2017 Graphic Vector/Template

I used to use motosporttemplates.com when I needed to buy 1. They used to be around 35 per set. If I'm remembering right, the payment thing was kinda funny, you used paypal and entered your email address as the shipping details or something. I never had any trouble with them for all the...
