Confirm the head cables are inserted properly at the head and the head carriage board. If cables are ok, then I would look at the encoder scale or as Mutoh calls it the T-Fence (clean it), then try cleaning the reader itself.

Those scratches on the surface of the head more than likely came from the media guides not being inserted all the way or the guides themselves are bent. Either way the scratches wouldn't have blown the head.

Like everyone else has stated......Black head needs replacement. For the yellow issue, I would suggest cleaning the encoder scale, also confirm "Full Width Scan" is enabled.

Check the manifold on the cyan head. I suspect that the nipple was broke when swapping out the head cables. Also from the picture I would also asked where is the Light magenta and light cyan? Nothing for the "C" channel.....I would test the fuse for that.

The 1st pic looks like an alignment issue and or overspray with the magenta head. The 2nd pic is caused by a dirty encoder scale or encoder reader, clean both with rubbing alcohol and the that problem should go away. My .02 GTSTech_1
