  1. Apply Color Correction in Production Manager - What's this mean?

I would think that by checking that it would over ride your settings you have listed above. If you entered the exact same settings it should print the same. I guess I always load things direct into production manager and never go through flexi.
  2. Winnipeg Jets

I think it would have made a great 3rd jersy idea. Keep the original and even throw that new logo on for a shoulder patch but keep the original logo. This way they would not tick off the old faithfull and yet be able to sell the 3rd jersey idea to those who like it.
  3. Double Sided Printing - Cling Vinyl

Reverse print one so that when you stick it to the window, it's the non ink side sticking to it. Then put the white decal over the ink side. I thought I read that you might wet apply the cling so once you squeegee the water out the decal sticks better. Not sure on that, but at least when reverse...
  4. Roland SC-500 price

DRamm, this was on a SC500 (the older Roland 54") so it had the DX2 heads (which have gone up in price but still $200 range and only uses 2 heads) You may be right on boards if they ever go, they would be around $1,000) and if you can't do your own work the install is what gets you.
  5. 8 years into a Life Sentence...

Well Tim, it's a good thing have never met you face to face as if I had, I might not recognize you today, as either you are posting photos of yourself from 10 years ago or you turned back time. congrats on the day.... Here's hoping you never make parole........
  6. Trying to block out light with vinyl

Good point.... Do you know if it makes any difference if the vinyl is on the outside with trapping heat or any better on the inside of the window? I had read about a lot of dark images on a full print on a window has more risk of breaking the window.
  7. Trying to block out light with vinyl

Would they ever let you design a stained glass look and print on a backlit trans vinyl and have the letter designed in the windows you want. It may look quite good with the light behind it and still let some light into the building but not glare. Also if the building is used at night it would...
  8. Double Sided Printing - Cling Vinyl

What I have found with static cling is that if you print normal, your image is the side that gets stuck to the window. In heat it's possible for the ink to stick a bit to the window when removing and if it removes enough ink your image may suffer. If you reverse print, so that the ink would...
  9. Roland SC-500 price

I would assume you have heat plates on that printer. Not all SC 500's did. If all is working well I would say you should get $6,000.00 plus. I know converted FJ's were going for as much as $5,000.00 and they are printer only. Non converted units have been around $3,000.
  10. Versacamm Issue

If you are getting pooling in the captops then you may have a blockage in the drain lines. If both captops pool then check both lines to the drain bottle. If you can remove the line from the captops and force some cleaning fluid through with a syringe, to the drain bottle, then you would be...
  11. Backlit outdoor printed vinyl Orajet 3850

I just used up the end of a roll of 3M Scotchcal film ESM TVP and it had a horrible smell to the vinyl. Worse than any ink smell I've used. Printed nice. Hope the 3850 does not when it gets here.
  12. Backlit outdoor printed vinyl Orajet 3850

In a handout I have it lists it as a soft calendered... not quite sure what that means. I wonder if that is an old term? What is good to hear though, is that (threeputt) has used 210 on his with no issues. I still rather take the input from 101 users than some of the sales people that may...
  13. Backlit outdoor printed vinyl Orajet 3850

I did see that, as well they said the 240 antigraffiti which at that price I was going to order a few rolls....... choke choke......
  14. Backlit outdoor printed vinyl Orajet 3850

Josh.... I would love to be able to order a bunch of stuff from you from what I have heard and prices I have seen. Just have to work on that shipping thing up here. Some times the freight kills the savings. You had been looking into options for up here....... any luck...?
  15. Backlit outdoor printed vinyl Orajet 3850

Thanks for the info as they were saying it showed not recomended on 3850. Good to hear what has worked.
  16. Backlit outdoor printed vinyl Orajet 3850

Using some orajet 3850 to print some backlits (outdoor) and wondering about laminate. Would oraguard 210 be fine for at least a few years? If so is there a preference to either matt, gloss or semi gloss for a backlit? thanks
  17. Here is menu... what do you think ??

I like your idea of the prices this way... By the way..... I think that Zazzess is really a big fat bald guy just using that avitar to get help.......... Hope you know I'm kidding....... I enjoy reading the posts too......
  18. cj500 heads replaced

We might have to start at the beginning to see where you are at. I am not quite sure what you are wondering about.... it sounds like you are wondering why your left photo of the bird is too pink and not red like it was. To start with what does the test print look like. (button on the printer...
  19. Laminting/Digital Print Question

Had done a test with a sign on a door. It was printed ecosol inks and not laminated. Door faced to the south so here that would get the sun the most of the day. The area that people pushed on to open the door wore off in about 8-10 months. You could see the rub area but the rest of the sign...
  20. Printing on Reflective

I think it was an Oracal 5700 grade that I used and it printed real nice. I was qiute surprised how well it printed as some things don't always take the ecosol ink so well. Good stuff to make a tamper proof decal out of as you can't pick that stuff off in one piece.
