Hi guys. I will be listing our used ColorCam Pro PC-600 on ebay soon and Am wondering if anyone has any idea of what a fair price would be for a unit like this. We haven't used it in years, but last time it was used it worked perfectly. I'ts been in the corner of the shop ever since. Any clue...
you could opt for a used system, edge2 w/ and envision 375 can be had for significantly cheaper costs than an FX.
I just picked mine up a couple months ago and it's all in great shape. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. either that or sub the work out when you get requests.
you could use that lamination used for floor graphics. The name of it is escaping me at the moment. it not slippery, nor abrasive....
I wouldn't worry too much about longevity, unless they plan on re-using the ramps with the same graphics.
that's decently small, but we've got you beat. one of our customers uses sheets of animal silhouettes. They are all gold leaf guilded onto vinyl and fit into the size of the end of a pencil eraser as she puts them inside rings and bracelets. luckily... we don't have to weed them. But i do need...
hmm. just the usual, if you can round the corners just slightly so you minimize tear points, and make sure you're blade is sharp and at the optimal depth, there aren't many more shortcuts i know of. hire cheap labor. LOL
regardless, the result will always be "grainy", as it's printing 4 colors on top of one another in a dot matrix pattern. Then since the foils don't ever line up exactly on top of one another, you'll always see each of the cmyk colors if you look close enough. If the decal is to be viewed at...
Personally, I don't see the use. The vast majority of what I install on is fiberglass, aluminum, and plastic. unless there are some new magnets i don't know about that stick to said materials, they're of no use.
i'd advise against it. the lamination will shrink at a faster rate that the cling and since there is no adhesive to hold the cling down, it'll flag the edges and make it fall off.
I just upgraded from 1.54 to 4.0. It cost just over $600. Also, I can almost gaurantee you'll have issues with the legacy 25pin cable. You'll be needing the parallel to USB cable as well to run the edgeII. We may have an extra one at my other work we would sell, I'd have to ask, but otherwise...
It's been our bread and butter for 25 years. PM me if you have questions in particular. -Especially gold leaf lettering and striping, Gold maltese crosses and shields and all that fun stuff.
well, for one, there are plenty of simulated CF card out there, so that sorta kills the wow factor. Also, is dinoc printable? I've never used the stuff. I just thought it was like a wrapping cast.
