This is great news... we updated last week and hadn't noticed this yet. Will be much easier than scaling designs from now on.

We use the Epson workflow in Onyx and generate/read our targets in i1Profiler. Most of the hard work is automated and we don't have to tweak anything manually.

Yeah, apparently the yellows on previous generation were terrible, leading reds to turn magenta quickly. Haven't noticed that on the S80 yet thankfully.

This keeps getting repeated, however I've had 021C Orange printed outdoors for years and it still looks fine and isn't fading any faster than any of the surrounding colours. We still mention the volatility to our clients and give them the option of Orange inks or a CMYK mix.

Genius. We re-use cores all the time, and the centers are always torn to shreds in a few weeks.

The manual shows each mark to be 0.1mm apart.

Can you reboot any switches/routers in between the RIP machine and the printer and test again? If you have a spare, maybe do a swap out and try that also.

How is the printer connected to the RIP machine? USB or ethernet?

Yep, I just do a row first, then repeat the process for columns (or vice versa) to fill your sheet. Still makes more sense than the Repeat function which is entirely unintuitive.

This method should work perfectly with the Transform method. It's virtually identical to what we do.

Wow, that Repeat is going to take some getting used to... I really don't like it compared to the Transform method. There doesn't seem to be a way to tell Illustrator exactly how many copies you'd like other than dragging the selection and counting it out manually. For me it's one step forward...

Looks like I need to update my Illustrator... no Repeat function under Object in v25.0.1. Boudica, select the object you wish to repeat, then go to Effect -> Distort & Transform -> Transform menu. You can then select copies and movement/spacing for the object to create your grid. It only works...

For simple layouts/grids I just use the Transform tool. Once for columns, once for rows, group then repeat.
