We print MX decals on our S80600 regularly. You'll have zero issue with hitting KTM and Honda colours due to dedicated Orange/Red inks. Kawasaki you can get close-ish, but the Epson doesn't have a dedicated green ink channel so you won't get it spot on. It's still miles better than our old...
I'm not very familiar with the LEF series, but can you swap the cable from the magenta to another head and do another test print?
We need to see if the head is the problem or the cable.
"hello question about my sp540i. Why is my automatic cleaning not done on its own? . the cart moves to the left every 8 hours and returns to its place without cleaning. an idea? Thank you"
Sounds like poor quality canvas. We've been printing and coating canvas since 2008 and have never had this issue. We use Breathing Color amongst other brands. We generally oversize the print by 1/4in, but it always ends up wrapping down the sides anyway,
Can you elaborate on this?
Our Epson costs us nothing apart from ink and electricity (certainly less electricity than a latex).
Still running the same heads after 4 years and prints as good as the day it was installed.
To be honest, a polymeric vinyl will probably last as long as UV ink.
Since it's a UV machine, you can basically pick any material you feel like to print onto as the inks only sit on top of the paper and won't absorb into it.
Ilford, Hahnemühle, Breathing Color all have a fairly wide variety of...
You could try a high tack vinyl such as General Formulations GF201-HTAP.
I wouldn't be applying anything to concrete using a wet method though.
I don't think you're going to find a 'removable' product that is also going to stick decently to concrete.
You may be better off doing a banner and...
I'd go with the HP over the Mimaki in this particular case.
I'll introduce some bias as we run an Epson solvent and suggest looking at an S60600 as well.
I know our Roland used to suffer from dropouts when the cap top was getting old. We used to swap ours out every 3 months instead of the recommended 6.
In saying that, we've never changed one on our Epson in 4 years, and it still prints flawlessly.
That's fine if you're not comfortable with it. It is unfortunate to hear about the other head going bad. A head soak shouldn't involve any touching of the head plate. Just filling up the cap top with cleaning fluid then parking the head back on top for a soak.
If you're concerned only about this...
Mmm that's a lot of dropouts, and is likely the cause. Can you do an overnight head soak and see if any of them can start firing again?

Also, when was the cap top changed last?
The iPF printers require very little attention apart from consumables. You'll pay for paper, inks, a waste ink container (usually 1 per year) and electricity... that's about it.
We've run iPF machines since 2008. You'll eventually need a head every few years. I think we've replaced two of them...
Welcome to the forum.
We've had our 8600 for 4 years. Literally done nothing apart from change the blade once when the tip eventually broke off. Maybe wiped dust off it once or twice.
Still works the same as the day it arrived.
