The cleaning solution is likely the exact same thing in the "spare" channel if you don't run metallic/white. Nothing to worry about as mentioned above.

We get a lot of overspray between the channels, so we also clean them like this video shows. Just avoid the heads and you'll be fine.

It also depends on ink load and drying times. We use a very cheap LG monomeric for labels. We cut through full bleed 320% print all the time. As long as we let it dry 24-48h before cutting, we don't get curling.
