Did you change that quality setting from 6 to 2 like Bob suggested? I think that might do something.

One way to do it is to make all those cut lines you end up with the same color then "weld" them all together with the pathfinder "add to shape" tool, expand that and all the extra lines should be gone.

I did a bunch of 5 mil reflective vinyl a couple of months ago. I used the regular Graphtec blade, slowed the speed down to 15 and set the force at 18. It worked great.

I've had a few of these done for customers. I had a shop with a laser machine cut them out of styrene sheet. They weren't very expensive to have done and worked well.
