Justification is on center. I am working from a quickset though. Can working from a quickset cause issues like that?
BlueMoonATL, I don't think so cause then both sides would shrink right? It seems like Side B shrinks but still aligns to one side? Just doesn't make any sense to me.
Here we go again with a double sided headache. So i print side a and everything is fine, unload the material and flip it to print side b. For some reason its almost like its printing side b smaller than side a. As seen in the photos if i cut, not to the bleed but to just the edge of the print on...
I'll have problems like that occasionally but mainly when doing long runs and when i do long runs i keep clamps on hand and attach them to the grooves of the spindle very tightly so it keeps the roll from walking down the spindle. Hasn't failed me yet!
I've had the same issue with just about any sized banner, always been Grimco's Briteline or newer Duratex material. The only way i have been able to print a full banner is by sitting there next to the printer and holding pressure with my thumb onto the plastic piece of the spindle to keep the...
So I'm working with a double sided blockout vinyl with double sided mounting adhesive on one side. They're 4" x 6" pieces that I print and cut with my Graphtec FC8600 using Onyx 12 cut server. I'm having the Graphtec perf cut the material, which is causing a few pieces to fall out of the...
No i hadn't done anything with the printer yet in terms of any double sided settings. I may have just pressed something wrong i guess? This is the first time i have had an issue like this though. Sometimes it'll do it if the file is too big but that's just cause my computer is slow and has a...
So we got this new material from Grimco called Duratex 8ML Blockout Display Film. I was directed by a Grimco Advisor to download a profile from HP's media locator called Cooley's Double Sided Super Smooth. My goal here is to print 4"x6" double sided graphics, place optically clear mounting...
The only banner that i can think of that would accept vinyl adhesion would be Double sided block out banner from Grimco. But if you're going to go through the trouble of buying a roll of double sided material then you might as well just print on the other side instead of mounting cut vinyl to it.
Post what the problem was when you figure it out. I have a 360 as well and haven't had any issues like that but would be good to know if the need ever arose.
I don't know much about your specific printer but I know the temperature settings would be on the printer not onyx. You can't really mess with the print profiles using onyx. You have to do it manually on your printer settings.
Yes, the fabric things are the platen covers. Does it continue to bunch up even if the material is already out of the platen area? What you're describing happens to me as well but only when the material first passes through. Which is why i always make sure theres enough sticking out. Once you...
Yeah that's unfortunately just one of the side effects of using the platens. You just need to make sure you have a little bit of extra material sticking out of the platen before pressing print. Honestly that a good rule of thumb for most materials and prints anyway. Aside from basic...
I have an HP Latex 360 and occasionally- particularly with poster paper - the material with bow or curl as it heads into the curing stage which then causes it to rub against the roof of the curing area, damaging the print. This has never happened to me with mesh banner but if you don't use the...
I have an HP Latex 360 and also have the issue of my material being pulled and skewed out of place into either direction. I have found that the blue end caps for the spindles do not clamp on to the spindle well enough to keep the roll from moving. I usually put a clamp down on the spindle to...
