do you know which printer the sign shop was using? would you be trying to replicate that output or does it not matter to you? also you will kick yourself for not going 54" wide or higher just because a good majority of rolls come in 54''. you'll be a little limited material wise in what you can...
i run nazdar inks in my roland and they've been pushing us to use the fb ink set for our 700 and 750 but I'm against it, like i said earlier, because of the existing service contract with hp. don't want something to get weird and then they show up and deem it not worthy.
the 12oz DSS, or really any of the lighter blockouts from ultra flex are a pain to run thru hps. they are just not a fan of the heat it seems. i would try going lower heat higher passes and dwell time.
id stick with your oem ink, at least until you don't have a service contract or are out of your warranty. as far as i know, hp will not touch your machine if you have aftermarket inks running.
I've lost 40 pounds in 2 years because of running 6 printers at the same time. no eating change. could it be a tape worm? thats what my girl seems to think considering she's been dieting for a year.
Hey y'all, our 126 r2r is nearing end of life and were just looking at options. Need a 126" roll to roll, leaning more towards uv rather than latex and need some insight into what other operators think or what they are running. if anyone can help, id really appreciate your thoughts!! thanks!
hey just saw mac tac has a new line of non slip, no lam, concrete and asphalt decal, anyone get a chance to run any yet? how would you rate it against jessup's asphalt art? i know its a new product, just figured id ask around since it piqued my interest.
no that is definitely bumping up and hitting the heaterr on the inside, I've seen that many a time. throw that boy on the take-up and you should be all good.
how does your carriage sound? i had that issue on my 700 and one of the bearings on the trolley assembly was on its way out and causing vibrations on the carriage while tracking across the rail. if you hear any sort of grinding or squealing or anything of that nature i can almost guarantee that...
yeah that'll be more than enough. make sure on the install that their system is not essentially making a sail though. without that, you may have a shredded banner, especially in inclement weather. wind slits may help there.
