  1. wire mesh (screen) for capping station?

One of the Roland dealers I deal with carry the filters for the captops on their own. When I got them last time there was one for the lower filter that looked normal to whats in the captop and the upper filter was two smaller square filters that set on top of the one piece lower filter. They...
  2. Up Date on OP . We WOULD miss you.

One more prayer from up north.
  3. Ink line o-ring

I have been told that if in a real pinch and you don't have an o-ring and you need to get up and running that you can take some of the tubing from the pump line and cut a thin 1/16" or so off and make a temp o-ring. Not sure if I would rely on that for ever but just a thought.
  4. Tonight's Shark Tank

I am another fan of those shows. In Canada we have the Dragons Den with Kevin O and Robert H on that show as well. I wanted to get my table hockey game, that I designed and built 4 years ago on the show as a pipe dream, but since, there had been a couple on with table hockey games that got...
  5. Tricky Problem with the Cut Contour...

Stacy, I don't use VW but if she flattened everything including the cut line would that have worked? She may need to re set the cut line if that was the case. Sorry just seen you actually already said that.
  6. Cj 500 not syphoning maganta

Also can't remember is you have said if you are using the original CJ 500 drain lines or not. If you are still hooked up to them, try to run the pump lines right into the drain bottle (and not use the original black drain tube) by moving the drain bottle to the front, just under where the pump...
  7. sp300v issue

It might be the cold. What my printer does is it will print but once the head is out of ink it does not seem to recharge, even when the damper looks fine (about 1/2 full is normal). I would do a cleaning and it would fill the heads fine and print for a bit and drop out, once the head went dry...
  8. Like MC Hammer Says- "You Can't Paint This!"

Jill..... come on...... they are actors...... they just pretend to be good looking..... they are acting. Now Wayne is dealing with real people in his.... two different things....
  9. Like MC Hammer Says- "You Can't Paint This!"

What mega pixle would you have used to get this size of a mural? I have seen some in a sports bar that the pixle was about 1/4 inch square when you looked close, but the graphic looked good standing back 10 - 15 feet.
  10. sp300v issue

As was said, yours should do a cleaning cycle as long as the main power is on and you just turn off the pannel power. My old CJ converted sits for a week when I am gone and does not have a cleaning cycle, and when I get back I flush the drain lines and do one cleaning cycle and its ready to...
  11. Cj 500 not syphoning maganta

I am assuming that you have solvent in the printer. First thing to check is the drain lines making sure they are not plugged. Next is to draw ink into the head by way of the capping station. Do a test print and if still nothing, not even one or two lines then it may be a bigger issue. You...
  12. Roland SJ745EX service mode problem and others

I know they change them for the newer units. Did a search and one was down, right, left, up, right, down, left, left then (left+right+down+powerup together) Some times you need to do it several times to get the sequence just right. On my key pad it's a bubble type pad and is a lot harder...
  13. Roland SJ745EX service mode problem and others

Not sure but try without the last up just before you do the 3 keys together and power. down, right, left, up, right, down, left , (left+right+down+powerup together)
  14. SP-540 not cutting smoothly

When you do a test cut ( with laminate and a non printed vinyl ) do the cut lines cut into the backing liner? Can you see a very slight impression where the blade cut through or is it quite noticable where the blade cut through? How far out is the tip of the blade from the cutting head. I...
  15. How much to charge....

Wait for their printer to break down and have to have it repaired and then realize they just blew 3 months profit.
  16. Hi ! New here ! Learning with RVW 300 ip... NEED HELP Please :D !!!

Thank you, I'm sure they will be glad to hear that if they have not already done it. They must have been printing "we love PC stickers" ..... Just kidding....
  17. How much to charge....

I hear you.... and yes that is one reason not to have that above or under 10 sq/ft rule, but I had said that was for a basic quick estimate. And to keep the straight face thing, I do it by having my hand in my pocket, squeezing my nuts.... mostly the peanuts I make. I fight with that same...
  18. Roland Cj-500 Service Manual Needed

Yours should be on the way form your other request.
  19. Roland Cj-500 Service Manual Needed

I have had a couple years on the CJ , I might be able to help you this time. Kind of payback for your help when I started. Give me a call if you want. PM if you don't have my number yet. As long as it's not electrical issues.
  20. How much to charge....

It's hard to compare the USA and Canada for prices but I think we get a bit more up here for the similar job. I mainly print (not cut vinyl) all my stuff. As a basic quick estimate I use $7 a Sq/ft for over 10 Sq/ft and if its under, $10 /Sq/ft. That would include the hem and grommets but...
