This has nothing to do with the rip, the vinyl has lifted up between the pinch rollers and hit the bottom of the carriage. All you have to do is align the roll properly, also you might need to lower the platen temp a little bit.
Lookig for vinyl that will be installed in very cold weather (20F) and must withstand that temp for a long period of time, about 3 years.
Appreciate your help.
At the root folder, search for the wasatch folder, it will be named like (ws66), inside it there is a folder called (configurations), inside search for (spitfire65), you can ICC profiles inside this folder and it will show inside Wasatch.
The most 2 common things you have to watch are:
1- Media feed adjustment as the tension at the beginning of the roll will be different the at the middle or end.
2- Missing nozzels
I'm using 8 printheads in CMYK x 2 formulation
Yes, I have Infiniti FY-3208H equipped with 8 Seiko SPT-510, it's really a very good machine considering the price. It's not a Mutoh or DGI you can't print un-attended, you have to watch it while printing.
You have to use 1 litre type Ver 1.0 (I made that move in 2007) The Spitfire machines were designed only to work with mild solvent inks in the 1 litter configuration. It is very easy to make the machine think that is working in mild solvent mode perhaps you were putting eco ink in the refill...
Some solvent and eco solvent media won't print well on older Latex models like L26500 because the material won't stand the temperature required for latex ink to cure.
