  1. Bar logo...2nd Try

Yeah, highway pegs not a necessary element to convey bike/chopper/bagger. Not everyone has them.
  2. what is a price for a used bn-20

HAHAAHAHAAAHAHA!!! :ROFLMAO: :dog42 (Tell me again why someone would buy this machine?)
  3. switch from HP L26500 to SIEKO M64

Cartridge Ink... well of course! It's more expensive than gasoline. It's the liquid gold that a printer manufacturer relies on for steady revenue between printer sales. Real industrial printers have always used bulk ink. I really got soured about the mid-level industry treatment of it's...
  4. Bar logo...2nd Try

Show me in Black & White.
  5. switch from HP L26500 to SIEKO M64

Sounds fussy... and another reason to avoid HP. They have found yet another reason to trap users into their overpriced ink with marketing hype, and big budget advertising. The disposable printhead is kinda cool. But if it were my money, I'd get a Sieko. Reason being... they've got speed and the...
  6. what is a price for a used bn-20

Well, based on your photo that's just a straight vinyl job. Would last longer and look better than printed vinyl. But if that's your passion then don't sell yourself short. Get at least a 54" printer. There are oodles of them for $7k and less. And they are all fine machines with plenty of...
  7. Banner Jet Walk-Thru + UV Ink Conversion!

I'll be printing this week. Just found out over the weekend that I got the wrong sized wall socket. So, minor set-back. That, and I don't have an adequate computer to set-up as a RIP station. Only have Mac and Win8 stuff right now, and the RIP that came with the printer needs something slightly...
  8. Banner Jet Walk-Thru + UV Ink Conversion!

No, the ink I had made is specifically designed to flow with Epson DX5 and DX7 print heads. There's a specific flush solution that you'd have to run, and your ink tanks would have to be opaque. But it could really be a straight forward install. The trick, like you said would be the universal...
  9. what is a price for a used bn-20

Well, the new ones list at $8495. Not sure how much cheaper you want it? Plus only the newest ones can run the white ink option. To me that seems worth the price of admission, since it's really just a "Sticker Printer" at that size. I'm pretty sure they are still using the DX5 printhead, and...
  10. Banner Jet Walk-Thru + UV Ink Conversion!

Yeah, there are already quite a few manufacturers heading into the direction of LED UV printing. It's going to be replacing Eco-Solvent and Latex inks in about 5 years. It's so versatile, inexpensive with the added benefit of not having to heat up the substrate. However, right now... even the...
  11. Manual laminator?

EZTaper has a hand crank model, and a smaller one as well.
  12. Problems with print quality

Always print in this order: .eps, .ai (if RIP accepts it) .pdf, .tif, .png, .jpg, .bmp If you start with vector files, try to print them as vector files. They actually only contain mathematical points, rather than pixels. Which is why you can scale vectors up and down without getting all...
  13. Banner Jet Walk-Thru + UV Ink Conversion!

Just so happens the printer is at secret location in an unmarked warehouse separate from my office. We refer to is as MouseWorks. Been thinking of getting a multi layered biometric authentication entry point set-up. But it occurred me that the extra stuff attached to the outside door would stand...
  14. Banner Jet Walk-Thru + UV Ink Conversion!

Here's How I Spend My Friday Nights! Another long week in the office, but I got some time with my UV Printer Conversion Project. Finished up some key components and hit a milestone along the way. I ended up getting a different shaped heat sink. Allows for more clearance underneath, so I don't...
  15. custom acrylic room signs

You could back light with an electro luminescence film. Like LumaMedia offers.
  16. Unusual Font problem

No big loss. You should delete arial anyway. It's a fake Helvetica, with a stupid "R" leg.:ROFLMAO:
  17. please come in - advise on nozzle test pattern

The tubes under the capping station are clogged. I've explained how to fix this many times. Use search function.
  18. Small Time QNAP Fanless Backup System For Me

Curtains beautify plain, boring windows. Diminish drafts, and reduce echo in a room. Draperies block out light and keep hot/cold out. We dress our windows for lots of reason. However Player, I am more concerned about the foil lining your windows. What are you doing in there?
  19. Before and After Cleaning Service Logo

Yeah, those two logos are soooo old, that's back when I was trying to be a sign designer. I didn't know any better. :ROFLMAO:
  20. Before and After Cleaning Service Logo

Also, when laying out your logo the tag line shouldn't be part of it's overall composition. It needs to stand on it's own, whether or not it's horizontal or vertical. Here you can see why the larger, bold face font does actually help anchor the logo's weight balance on the right hand side.
