Good second check point but captops were also fine and sealing propper. They did not end up being the problem........

If you are getting mixed color in your test print for the first bit until a cleaning then the captop filters might be raised up and touching the head and causing a syphon thus drawing another color into the head. Are you able to get into the service menu and do a "Linear encoder check"? If you have not done this you may also need to do a calibration of the scan direction (also in the service menu). These were things it said to do once you replace the encoder strip.
