You don't need to print daily on a BN-20, as long as you don't use it with white or metallic.
With cmykm MAX or Max2 ink, you can leave it unattended for weeks, as long as there is ink in the cartridges.
Your discharge tube is likely blocked!
Often the tube gets pinched by the waste bottle. Check that.
The cap of the pump outlet has popped off. I have seen it a couple of times.
You either need to find the cap in this mess, or close the open pump port with a closed short piece of tubing. (I close...
Nice video
My guess for the nozzle plate material is some sort of beryllium copper alloy. And then some coating... Roland introduced a DX4 head with a new type of coating for the LEF UV printers lately.
The corrosion around the nozzle holes should make it clear, that no extended soaking will...
There is some media, that just can't take the curing heat from a Latex. It skews the medium and tracking isn't possible. (Had it lately on a brand new Latex800 S-Class2 combo. We even waited overnight for the medium to settle, but it only helped to a small extent)

Don't buy XF's, if you need bandingfree quality. The EJ's have some enhancements to remedy these problems.
We converted a EJ to a sublimation bulk ink system and the...
Hello
After replacing hundreds of heads professionally, no.
Mimaki required to flush, Roland didn't. I sometimes forgot it with Mimakis, they always worked anyway.
There is a whole band of nozzles missing an a lot of misfiring.
You can try to clean, soak and flush. But after many wasted hours, the head needs replacement. (If you need a decent quality output with sharp text and without ink spraying)
I guess there is... You probably lost the setting in the reinstallation process.
Without knowing your cutter type, it's hard to tell. For the cutters I know, it's a cutter setting.
Replace the cyan dampers, then the printhead... (you can cross switch the two dampers and see what happens first,)
When you need good quality, black could need a new head too.
