One plus on a Cj is the price for some of the parts you end up replacing. Like a printhead.... for (2) you can do it for under $300 usd and you can do it yourself. As for the conversion again you can do it yourself but you have to be some what mechanically inclined. If you don't like fooling...
For Canvas Prints
On a canvas where the image was wrapped around the edge of the canvas frame, it's like a normal image continued. Then there also is an image where the edge was a stretched image that looked like it was just pulled down and stretched around the frame. It gave the canvas edge...
Well done and great idea. The golf course should not care one way or another how much better your sponsored hole looks, but others will see it stand out, and if they ever had a need for signs in the past, will think about you next time.
If they were where the main program was located look in your hard drive (c) then programs, then your rip program name (ie: flexi, versaworks, etc) then look for the icc folder. In mine there is some CYMK RGB and Grayscale folders and then folders some with your printer name. In that folder...
I do have a couple photo and canvas media that let you print on them in both aqueous and eco sol. This might be why they sent some samples for aqueous but if they don't say they are for both then most likely are not. Most aqueous medias are 4 times the cost of un coated media so it's not worth...
Didn't mean to do it
Interesting thing..... I was printing off a color chart and was trying out the take up reel. It was not that long of a run but I just wanted to test it out. I forgot I had the print and cut feature on and the color chart had a cut line all around it which I had forgot...
Most times I have found the banding was from not having the heads lined up propper. There is a test print you can do in the service menu that will do your allignment test prints. If they are off then you will get banding. If you print in uni direction and get no banding then you know the...
Thanks for both of your input. So far from what both you said and reading up on Rolands take up reels, I guess using tape is the main method of attaching media to the take up reel. Actually does seem to be the easiest way to line up as well and not leave a lump on the reel.
How to mount media to take up
Quick question. What is the normal way that you mount media to the take up reel? Do you just tape it to the core?
So far for the one I made, I used an old chunk (4 ft) of banner to tape solid to the take up reel and then the other end is just taped to the...
Finally got a chance to make up a crude version of a take up reel. It will actually let you roll your material up and back it off if your printer happens to pre feed and rewind before print.
The tube to roll the media onto is 7" diameter and the gravity feed weight is a 10 lb weight. For a...
Not sure if the key sequence is the same on your unit as on mine but try:
while front pannel is off (not main power) up left right down left down right and then at the same time left down right and power on.
It's like a "s" shape and a "v" shape on the key pad when you connect the dots.
Is there any chance that the waste line might be plugged. When you do a normal clean can you look into your waste bottle and see the lines and can see ink drip out of both waste lines. If a waste line from the pump gets blocked it won't draw ink into the print head and what does come out of...
There will be a lot to go over here.
Does your SC 500 have heaters? (these would be inside the unit but should have a separate box with the temp settings) If you don't see anything then you might have one that has not had heat plates added.
The first ones out did not come with them and if...
Hi and welcome,
I have a set of the 11/10 R 1121 series of the eco sol ink. They are in a converted CJ 500 so chips are not an issue. So far the smell is not bad at all. I have the unit in a very small room ( 6 1/2' x 12' ) and there is a slight smell but I can still be right beside the unit...
