  1. overlaminate recommendation

Personally have never laminated a wall mural. If you're scratching during install then change squeegees, or your installer. And figure out why your ink isn't curing adequately.
  2. Why would 3M 7725 be used for a city spec?

If you only knew how many times X brand was spec'd and I used Y brand. Unless you're sending them RTA decals, they're never gonna know. I like to think "or equivalent" is implied in the specs...LOL. As long it's high performance/cast, I am sure it's fine.
  3. Dry Erase Magnetics

I guess I don't understand your need for thicker laminate. Thicker material does not mean better.
  4. Dry Erase Magnetics

That second photo really looks to me like they laminated over cut lettering. Normal dry erase laminate should work just fine on prints or directly to blank magnet. And your .033" makes sense.....030" magnet with 3 mil laminate; adds up.
  5. Large quantity cut vinyl supplier

It can't be print and cut? 500-1000 really isn't a lot....1000 at that size is like 9 feet of 54" material.
  6. Need Help Rectangles are bowed when cut.

Using OPOS and it is reading the length of the bar before it cuts? It should be doing so to adjust for any bowing in the print. It's caused by too high heat when printing.
  7. People are getting edgy lately...

Yes this is part of it. Kind of like the "keyboard warrior" mentality. "You can't see me (except for my eyes) so I can be as rude and disrespectful as I want". I've seen it lately as well.
  8. Reverse print on clear, laminate with white then cut. But how?

Simply print mirror on clear, with a border about 1" around your image. Then when you print, the reg marks are well far way from the print. Cut your backing white vinyl the same size as the border box you printed and laminate it. Your reg marks are clear and ready for the plotter.
  9. Font ID

    and it's spelled BARREL
  10. Cutter Blades - Summa, Clean Cut, etc..

Have been getting Clean Cut blades for quite some time. Haven't had any issues really. Current one in my Summa right now has been in for at least a year, and I also cut a lot of laminated vinyl with it. When my guys start having issues weeding out normal text then I know it's time to change it out.

  13. Chance for me to help a friend. FOnt ID. 5 or 6 different

Yeah I don't get why fonts need to match if you're just recreating an info chart. Eurostile or Europa should work fine as mentioned. As well as Helvetica/Swiss or any similar font.

  17. drying rack for paper signs or banners

That's what I'm wondering....are these printed on a printer? Or screened? What printer and paper? I print on poster paper all the time and it's dry off the printer.

Whatever you do, save this photo for any "worst sign design ever" contests that pop up.
  19. Time for a new proof sheet - any tips?

  20. Need Help How many profiles do you really need?

This sounds like an owner who doesn't care about quality.....I don't even comprehend someone not wanting to take the time to do things right and create your profiles. Being busy isn't an excuse.
