Hmm, not sure if you could do it on that printer - CMYK only correct ?? From what I seen looks like only there UV model has the varnish option. I’m sure someone more experienced with Roland’s will chime in. With solvent printers not sure how a double coat would react.

What machine do you have ?? Some machine have a varnish and spot color for it, Roland has this option on several printers. You can also do a double print if your printer allows it, many UV printers allow this.

Hey Guys, Wanted to check to see if anyone had a printer profile setup for Drytac Retac 150 ?? We tried to use our generic profile and were getting fuzzy colors - Thought I would check. Drytac only had 1 profile for Polar white - Might try that if I cant find one for Retac.

There is back orders all over the industry. Grimco is normally pretty good about backorders & updates. We are trying to order at least a month out for upcoming jobs & stocking alot more than we normally would.

Got it figured out - Was a breaker issue in the machine and a bad chiller. Hopefully Chiller replacements are available and quick to do - fingers crossed.

Yeah Grimco is awesome, we bought our summa cutters from them and most of our day to day materials. On equipment we found them to have the most competitive pricing, sometimes you can find roll goods cheaper locally but Grimco has the most stock & variety out of any company we buy from.

Call into Onyx they have amazing support, we had our printer drivers corrupted some how. They remoted in and had the problem fixed within minutes. They also saved all of our presets and profiles which was awesome.

We were running a CWT, CWT was faster at die cutting than our roll cutter - Kiss cutting I would say our Summa's are a bit faster.

Not too much knowledge on the solvent printer (We only use UV Printers Roll/flatbeds) but hands down Summa has been awesome. We have two of t series and one d series and they are work horses. Best quality of cut & speed of any roll cutter - our flatbed cutter is the only thing that beats it in...

Are you running Onyx ?? They have a Download Manager that has presets for tons of materials and Manufactures. Suction on the bed can be changed in the setting - Really depends on the material - Check to see if there is a similar preset with other brands.
