Gino. If people listened to you they would never try anything new. How did you learn all these things you are an expert on. I bet you did them for the first time once in your life. Everyone has to or they will learn nothing. I am with iSign on this one. Go do it!
That sounds good Craig but I have never seen them from a sign supply. I mostly order from N. Glantz. I'll ask my rep. If not I'll have to make some. Thanks for the idea. One man crews need a helping hand some times. LOL.
I would not use tempered glass if you were going to try that. If you got a spot hot with a heat gun it might shatter while cooling. When it breaks if goes into a million pieces.
Anybody ever try to use suction cups to handle acrylic up in the air out of a bucket truck? Like the glass places use. It looks like it would work, I am just not sure whether to trust it or not.
I have never heard of a little giant hinge failing. I used one for 9 or 10 years and sold the company they are still using it today. I bought a knock off about three years ago and it is doing well. I bought the scaffold for doing big trailers where a little more room will help me. It will...
I use weld-on. I made spacers from 1x4's cut to length for each letter size. It makes it easier next time you need to make one with the same size letters.
Bulb spacing plays a part in this also. The closer together the bulbs are the brighter the whole sign is making the banding show less. I don't think there is a hard and fast rule. There are lots of variables.
