Problems I had drilling an then using the tapcons: -Drill bit seemed to dull quickly. -If one overtightens the tapcon it seems like it "pops" and loses it's grip -Drilling into mortar - good. Drilling into bricks - bad. Causes me to lose alignment with grommets... Do you put silicone...

I second that. Some stand come with poles in three pieces already, easy enough to use only two of them. Bannerstands with telescoping poles and locking mechanisms make me nervous...

Part of it is the photographer... If they set the people up so that the banner is at a slight angle in the background it wouldn't glare at all. One can photographer people in front of a mirror and not get flash glare...
