I would suggest pulling down and installing the Media Preset for Poli-Tape Turbo Print 4036 from the HP Media Locator.

Search (icon of a blue filter) under manufacturer = Poli-Tape, and download the OMS file for the 315 printer, and install it through...
There are tools in the Flexi Editor for previewing and reordering cut sequences. In the standard interface, the tools are located under the Arrange Menu > Cut Order > Reorder/ Preview. Note that not all versions of Flexi have these tools, but if yours does, they are terrific for speeding up...
With current HP Latex printers, the Ink Density is defined in the print mode. The Ink Density is represented as a percentage (90-percent, or 110-percent). You can go to the HP Media Locator and identify frontlit and backlit self-adhesive medias with higher ink density values. I find that the...
There is something called a Collibre that sort of resembles a zipper that can snake its way in the media travel direction. Note that this is actually coming from the backing paper, and not the vinyl itself, and goes away when the vinyl is mounted to a surface.

What is the skew value that has been defined in the load screen on the front panel? Smaller values require a more precise loading technique, and larger values provide more wiggle room. Increase the value and see if that improves your loading success rate.
Define the board in the IPS as slightly larger than the actual size.

Check the What's on my Key application from Onyx. Under Media Manager it will list all supported functionalities available for that license. See attached screen grab.
Arlon 6500 is a cast translucent media for backlit applications, so use of a media preset/ print mode with high ink density is preferable. One option would be to install the Media Preset for 3M IJ3630, which is a Certified media with a print mode of 200-percent ink density. The Media Preset is...
I'd suggest physically printing several copies of the Calibration chart across the width of the media, and then measure each one to average from as opposed to multiple measurements of the same chart.
For fabric printing, there is generally little benefit to charts with more than 25 patches per...
The original X-Rite i1Pro is best suited to taking measurements from flat medias like paper or SAV, as opposed to woven or knit fabrics. Using a large aperture device such as a Barbieri LFP QB or new i1 Pro 3+ would be vastly preferable for measuring fabric. Because of the small aperture on your...
The printer should read the media width down to the 1/10 inch during the load sequence. You can verify this value at the printer front panel, under the Substrate/ Media icon after the media has been loaded. It should be consistent with the physical width of the media.
The RIP also needs to have...
