Actually I don't ever use it. Was testing it out to see if it may be useful or more efficient than email but I currently still do it the old fashioned way. Just seems like an extra step using the tool but may be useful for some. Then the color issue came up so was kind of intrigued on what...
Yeah, my softproof enabled in either file does not change the appearance of the color. If I open the "silver" file I can import the "tan" one and all appears silver. And vice versa the other way around. Tracked it down to the default rendering intents do not transfer up to the cloud or back...
So this is odd. My "metallic silver" I use looks kind of tan on my screen. No big deal since it prints correctly. If I "send to approval" tool it still is tan looking on the approval screen. Oddly if I download the file from the cloud it looks silver as it should in this "new" file. Color is...
Ah....I thought you meant you upgraded the Windows software on that computer you were currently using. Now I am assuming that you got an entire new computer and installed Flexi on it so I'm not sure why that isn't showing correctly. May be time to contact support unfortunately.
Yeah, it does print purple and looks blue on my screen. Soft proof on the screen shows it pretty accurately (purple). Normally my vector colors (at least off the Flexi standard swatches) prints pretty accurate.
What SignStudent said should work. This drove me nuts as about 5% of my print/cuts were doing this. For those that use the production manager in Flexi instead of VW you can do that in there too. For reference: Once PM is open go to the second tab (Panel) and in the first box you will see...
I started with a profile that was close and modified it using the Xrite. Not sure if that is the right way but all my vector colors are pretty much spot on now.
Not sure how old your machine is but if it has a lot of hours on it replace the rollers. I could never get my machine to cut accurately if it was a long run or had a lot of cuts even on a small sheet. Replaced the wheels and now this thing we do long runs without getting off track. The old...
Yeah, I don't see why it doesn't work. I have never had a problem. As Jayhawk said just make sure those types of files are affiliated with Flexi. What I am thinking is maybe it's affiliated with the old version and not the new one now since in your second image it says it's a FSP type file so...
What I have learned (if you want them right) you just have to do it yourself. I have bought one of those templates before for my RZR 1000 and I had to tweak every piece of art to fit properly. Some pieces weren't even close. And all I was doing was the black fenders. Didn't get into the...
It's really had to say for sure what customers are using them for but most common are BBQ grills, motorcycle exhaust and decals under car hoods. Normally they are pretty small jobs but I rank high for a search term that brings a lot of inquiries to me. Just hate to turn away business when...
Anyone know any good high temperature material? Either for die-cutting or eco-sol inks? The highest stuff I carry is good for about 225F but have customers all the time requesting stuff for 300F+. Can't seem to find anything that hot except for material for like small roll labels.
How much is this used? You've got pretty good life out of it if it's used a lot. We cut quite a bit and normally just upgrade to a new machine every 5 years or so and keep the old one for backup in case of an emergency. How large are the letters that are giving you issues? I think SNS has...
Don't feel bad. I even threw a used Roland VSi-640 in the dumpster that I got from Ordaway. The machine printed fine on the first few small test prints. But when I tried to print a larger job the yellow was dropping out. After replacing about everything it could possibly be and even getting...
That's good to know. I got the red to print pretty nice by going to the pure hue setting (in PM) and checked the red to pure hue since it was printing more orange without it. Also checked the yellow for pure hue as all the yellows had random traces of color in them without that checked.
Well after several recommendations of 3165G profile I decided to play around with it. Looked pretty bad by default so that's why I originally skipped over it last week after a test print or two. But after doing some major tweaking I finally go it to look pretty good. At least better than what...
The problem I am having with the profiles is that if I get my red and burgundy to print right most of the other colors are all static looking. But if I use or tweak a profile to where most of the colors look right then there is banding in the red and burgundy (or the red prints orange)...
I should've clarified that I bought a used one (years ago) but it doesn't seem to actually work. I was getting some type of error when trying to use it.
