Go to the Menu>Tool>Down to Page 2/3 then you can adjust the Tool Up Speed. Good Luck
  3. Roland SG-540 Help

The pressure pumps would likely keep the cleaning fluid from passing through - they default to a closed position when not pumping. You'd need to buy the cleaning cartridges anyway. I suppose you could put them in and try syringing from below the cap tops to see if you get any flow. Just don't...
  4. Problem with Gerber Sprint

It's been too long since I've worked on a Sprint, so I can't help much there. If you're happy with it though, get a GS-15, not the GSx. The GS-15 is essentially the same plotter that's on the Sprint, with dial pressure instead of stacking weights. It will be very familiar to you. If you want...
  5. Versaworks for Mac?

You'll want to get a Windows 10 box to run the RIP. Much less expensive than buying a RIP that will run on an Apple computer. Good Luck.
  6. Are you interested in becoming a tech in the sign industry?

Hi all, We currently have several open positions available around the U.S. for both inside (phone and remote support) and outside technicians (in the field turning screws). If you're curious, check out our careers web page: http://www.dencosales.com/Careers.html. Or feel free to PM me. We're...
  7. Roland TrueVis VGII-640 and TR2 Inks

What is the humidity in your shop at? Most people don't keep track of this, but it impacts printing when it gets out of spec. Weather.com shows that it's 50 degrees and 29% Relative Humidity. If you're heating your shop up to 70 degrees (more or less), unless you are adding moisture with a...
  8. Roland SG 540 Problems

Check that your Magenta ink isn't low. The -0002 points to the magenta channel. If there's no ink available, the pump can't fill the damper. Next perform the damper fill routine - this solved a customer's problem last night without a service visit - they were ecstatic to be able to keep...
  9. SG-300 TR2 Upgrade White Gaps & Banning

You're missing nozzles. That's the cause of your white lines - not any RIP settings. It also appears that your heads are misaligned. Have you performed the Detailed Media gap adjustment? Final thought is that the upgrade pushes a lot of ink through the heads. If you have well used heads, it...
  10. Need Help Captop Gap check issues

You mentioned the pump, but have you replaced the captops? If they are old, they can wick the ink out of the heads. When in the capped position, they should both be tight against the heads - and your right head does look to be installed incorrectly. Try reseating it.
  11. Kawasaki Green

It will be tough to hit unless you have green ink in your printer.
  12. Anyone know where to get these?

    Thanks Jimbug!
  13. Anyone know where to get these?

Anyone have a source for these wire catch baskets? Thanks for any help.
  14. Gerber FX Print Issue

Those metallic foils have a powder on the back. Make sure you clean the printhead with the cleaning cards between every job when using shiny gold or silver. Also firing file is a good idea as well. Good Luck
  15. VersaWorks 6... what happened to the overprint button?

It's under quality settings now. In the details section.
  16. Laminator Troubles

Something is unbalanced. If you're sure you're loading it straight, and you start out with even tension on the laminate all the way across, then something else is crooked. Is this attached to a take-up? If so is that straight? If everything is truly straight, unload everything and slowly...
  17. Need Help SG2 300, ROLAND - Grainy Prints - Any suggestions?

Can you post your nozzle test print?
  18. Roland True Vis VG2 540

There are two ways of looking at it Cosmo, 1. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Or, 2. Keep up with the latest and greatest. - both have advantages. There are occasions when a firmware update will break something, but for the most part, I've found Roland's firmware updates to be improvements -...
  19. Please help me get this tubing

It only comes on a 50 meter roll now and costs over $1000 for the roll. The tricky part is that it needs to be highly solvent resistant as well as very flexible. If you can live without the choke valve - which doesn't get used very often, you could bypass it with normal ink tubing.
  20. Ceramic Coating Removal

You'll probably have to buff it off. You could check with the shop that applied it for him to be sure.
