  1. Weird problem with Chrome

No, I have far too many fav's for that method. In addition to my main Fav list, I have categories/folders of Fav's.
  2. Weird problem with Chrome

I can see how that might find a culprit (if one of them is causing it), but I want these favourites. shrug
  3. Weird problem with Chrome

Not sure what you mean. BTW, not sure if it's related, but this possibly correlates to finding my various favourites inexplicably somewhat scrambled/re-arranged recently too.
  4. Weird problem with Chrome

A few days ago, I started having this strange thing happen with my Chrome browser. Every time I open a new browser window, and click on "Favourites" and begin to hover down over the this list, the Favourites list disappears (pops closed) within a second or two. If I try it a second time (in...
  5. Fumes = Bloody nose

^^^ Yup, it's like that all over. "There is hardly anything in the world that someone cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and the people who consider price alone are that person's lawful prey." This statement is also found in this lengthier version: There is hardly anything...
  6. Fumes = Bloody nose

Thanks for the kind words. The exhaust isn't rudimentary. It's a 14" fan which, when on, is so powerful that one cannot close the man-door without serious effort. Perhaps I didn't have it on enough, these things can sneak up on ya, but lessoned learned. I'm printing more now with it on...
  7. Dry erase dilema

I just received the small sample this morning, and am thrilled to report that the FDC film is nice and thick (4 mil), and the backing paper is thick too. I just ordered a bunch.
  8. Fumes = Bloody nose

A good idea for those larger jobs - thanks. Does anyone know of a good make & model that isn't too expensive? My shop is ~700 sq. ft. with 10' ceiling. I'll call around tomorrow to see if one can be rented as well.
  9. Fumes = Bloody nose

LOL, having never done any drugs ever in my life, I can safely rule that out. (Coffee doesn't count).
  10. Fumes = Bloody nose

I've had my Roland Versa-Camm for nearly 4 years now, and have done a few big jobs without any problems with the fumes (I always attempt ventilate the shop as best as possible). Unfortunately I now have a slightly bloody nose after doing a pile of election signs, printing through two full 54"...
  11. Dry erase dilema

Will do. I receive a small sample likely by Friday. If the backing paper is still super-thin, I wonder if this will still be an issue in getting the film down without wrinkles, or if the added thickness of the film itself will take care of the problem.
  12. Dry erase dilema

Thanks. I've asked ND for a sample of that, but I also just now found a 4 mil product, and am awaiting a sample of that too: http://www.fdcfilms.com/series/promotional-dry-erase-vinyl-filmnbsp
  13. Dry erase dilema

    Thanks, who carries that?
  14. Dry erase dilema

Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but I'm having a similar problem again. Does anyone know of a clear Dry-Erase film that is either thicker than the standard ~1mil (like 2mil or more) and/or has a thicker backing paper. I'm perplexed as to why the manufacturers make the backing paper so darn...
  15. Strange issue with CorelDraw X7

Hey, I just thought of something, I still have X6 installed, and, all working files are still saved in the X6 directory; could that have something to do with it?
  16. Strange issue with CorelDraw X7

I upgraded from X6, but I can't remember if it started right away or after a Windows update. Dang.
  17. Strange issue with CorelDraw X7

It's not the space-bar thing; I do have X7 installed on another computer in the house, so I'll try that tonight. It sounds like such a trivial thing, but believe me, when you have to deal with it all the time it gets annoying. Cheers.
  18. Strange issue with CorelDraw X7

Thanks Joe. I did post it on the Corel forum some time ago, but nobody could help with this particular problem.
  19. Strange issue with CorelDraw X7

I agree, I should, but it doesn't appear to be possible.
  20. Strange issue with CorelDraw X7

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately it appears that one needs to be within 30 days of purchase, I'm beyond that, so would need to "buy" support.
