  1. Strange issue with CorelDraw X7

When working on a file, if I open another file to get an item, Copy it, close that file, then Paste that item into the working file, the default "Pick Tool" is no longer the active tool, rather the magnify tool or shape tool text tool or some other tool is active, requiring me to click on the...
  2. Comic Sans mentioned in Video

LOL - Weird Al mentions Comic Sans (at 1:25) in his new video spoof on that "Happy" song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsWo8apgLys :Big Laugh

    Any idea on this one?
  6. Where is this from?

YES!!!! I knew I had seen it before! I had those air shocks on my first hot rod 35 years ago. Thank you thank you thank you!
  7. Where is this from?

Where is this Rabbit graphic from? It seems really familiar to me, like something from the 60s, 70s or 80s, possibly the automotive industry???
  8. 1-500 sequential numbering - how to?

Thanks! I'll try this method when I get some time.
  9. Artwork Release fee

Great thread, and differing points of view. After 20 years in business, it still amazes me how I can get sucked into a similar, yet unique situation. I recently did some digitally printed labels (2" x 2" and 2" x 6") for a customer for coffee bags. I had done some sandwich boards for the...
  10. How do you handle this?

Thanks. They're not exactly local, so I've also requested a CC number as a security deposit. If they refuse, then perhaps that's a sign (no pun intended), and I've weeded out a bad customer.
  11. 1-500 sequential numbering - how to?

Thanks, that's very kind. As I've indicated, I got it set up already, but I'm still interested in what your step-by-step process would be.
  12. 1-500 sequential numbering - how to?

Nope. Thanks for the replies, but in the time I was waiting, I figured out a reasonably quick way to manually enter the numbers; only took a few minutes. I gotta get this job done quick, so maybe some other time I'll learn how to do the Print-Merge thing. Cheers.
  13. How do you handle this?

I just received a Purchase Order from a customer I've never dealt with before for a reasonably large decal job. Are Purchase Orders solid enough to proceed with the work, or could I get hung out to dry with that too? Would it be offensive to also ask for a Credit Card number?
  14. 1-500 sequential numbering - how to?

I need to print/lam/cut 500 2" x 6" decals with numbers from 10001 to 10500. I'll be printing these on 36" wide media, and will likely do them in easy to handle batches of 75 or so. In CorelDraw (X7), how does one do the sequential numbering from 10001 to 10500 without manually keying in each...
  15. Font Help Please!

As the two "A" and "C" letters don't match,, I'd say it was hand painted.
  16. Stumped

I got nothin' on FMF, WFI, and using FMF:
  17. CorelDraw X7

Just received my boxed upgrade (from X6 to X7) today. Will likely install tonight. For those who assert that recent versions haven't contained enough improvements over old ones to upgrade, I'd disagree; with the newer versions, you get all of the latest import filters, making dealing with the...
