    Ours is a L26500, for good solids 10 pass or 12 pass.

    The only other thing that comes to mind would be an air leak or ink restriction. Have you stopped the machine when this happens and completed a nozzle print?

    It looks like you are running in a 4 pass mode. Have you tried running in 8 pass? Also look at putting a pause between passes. Usually I haven't seen that unless the complete width of the media is printed as a solid colour.

    Call your Onyx representative. I was able to expand one of my versions to include a printer that wasn't included in the software.

    Have you tried an overnight pad cleaning? It would be the cleaning that requires the heads/carriage to sit on a pad soaked with wiper solution. Here are some other issues that could cause what you have in the picture. Nozzles clogged or partially clogged. Air leak - possibly from an o-ring at...

  12. Profile for Oracal 290

    I would doubt that you find a profile for the 290 laminate. I have attempted to print on it before, and not been consistently successful with a custom profile. I use the 3651 clear and have had no issues with it.
  13. Moving FB700 & LX800

    Does anybody have the approved procedure for moving a HP FB700 or HP LX800? Draining ink, removing cartridges and sub tanks are a given. The best way for securing a carriage has me sliding a little. We have the riggers, just want to make sure the machines are prepped properly.

    we wrap ours on a 5" tube, then wrap kraft paper around the tube/decal. Then we box and ship. Make sure the tube/decal is tight and doesn't bounce around in the box.

    Why not take a print for this customer and test it on the new hp 360 and let him help be the judge. If you are happy and he is happy, then everybody is happy.
