  1. Onyx profile edit only CMYK

I have completed a similar task for CMYKlclm by eliminating the lc and lm channels. It requires making a custom profile not using those colours.

  4. New printer band wagon

We have 2 HP9000s and a L26500. If you are looking for a direct replacement for the 8000, I would look at the Seiko W series. We are currently looking at the M series. I would definitely take some previously printed files and test them on all machines you are interested in purchasing.
  5. NEW HP Latex L370 4th Generation

Yes, just not thrilled about the short lifespan. The first set of heads was about 8L of ink. Also have noticed colour variations in some colours after changing print heads. Seems to be inconsistent and not the same shift every time.
  6. NEW HP Latex L370 4th Generation

I guess I'm just old school. Solvent (true solvent), Aqueous and UV. I understand the technology, the principles, but am not seeing where it is any savings or maintenance time. It is easier to print on some substrates, but harder to print on others. With every print format, you have to be...
  7. NEW HP Latex L370 4th Generation

Probably just me. We have a L26500 that has had head and temperature issues. I am currently getting 1500 - 2000ml life from the print heads. HP has advised me to not run lengths longer that 280"- 300" at one time.
  8. NEW HP Latex L370 4th Generation

Can the 370 print a 150' or 164' roll of vinyl at once without melting the print heads?

Glad to hear the issue has been resolved!!

  11. Poster paper/paper for hp360

+1 only we just upgraded to a 9400.
  12. For hp latex owners

Can you ask them when latex will be on it's final revision? I still don't think they have it quite figured out yet.
  13. Seiko M64 - feedback

I have demoed the M64 and really like the machine. Just looking for feedback from the real world. We have HP 9000, Canon 9400, HP L26500, HP FB700 & HP LX800 at this time. Just wanting to know if there have been any issues/quirks. Also, what do you really like about the machine?
  14. L260 not curing properly in centre

I have found with ours that the printer itself changes with the seasons. Nothing major, just enough to be annoying. Cure/dry temps and airflow are what we tweak around here.
  15. signburst reviews

I would use Casey's computers over anybody else in the market. :thumb:
  16. Need help with message in HP 9000s

If there is no damage to the cartridge, chip or connector, it is possible that the ink sensor has gone bad.
  17. HP LAtex 260 series printhead warranty returns? Where?

HP has a Designjet technical support. The number is 800-334-5144.
  18. decal on top of wrap...

In most cases it will. We use 3m 3500c with great success here for short term decals over a wrap. Usually nothing longer than a month.
  19. Printing on carpet

Thank you for the feedback. We have a FB700 and a customer is looking to do an outdoor display rug. At one time the old XL1500 could print direct, but was coming up empty for these newer machines.
  20. Printing on Dry Erase Boards

I have direct printed to a dry erase board with minimal problems. We have a HP FB700. I have found it easier to print to a roll substrate and use a dry erase over laminate, then mount to a board. I gives a smoother finish
