  1. HP L65500 media loading waste

  4. Leader or Fabric Leader and Edge Guards for HP Latex Printer

I have used the edge guards on printing with fabric. It's hit or miss. Most of the time it depends on fabric thickness. As for the leader, I don't use it. I tape a piece of 13oz banner or end piece of decal to the fabric. Then advance enough to peel my leader off when fed through the...
  5. Anyone have experience/advice on printing air release / egress metallic silver?

We have used 3m, Oracal and Avery films to print on. The best results we had was with 3M 180c-220. It was available in 48". Yes, we have tried printing on the wrap films, but ink adhesion then becomes an issue.
  6. 6 Color stripe (gutter) in Onyx 10

I run ONYX 10 with L26500 and a HP9000s and have no problems with the 6 colour gutter stripe. I have noticed that if the print/image is wider than ONYX would like, colours from the stripe "disappear". I would try a slightly smaller image, say 2 inches (50mm) narrower than the media, and see if...

  10. HP FB500 Scitex- Ink Peeling

We had a peeling issue with our FB700 on coro for awhile. I have switched to cleaning with mpc plastic prep 6428sp and the issue has diminished. I also started dating my coro as it came it. I found that the older coro had more issues than the newer coro.
  11. Hp9000 light cyan dropping out

How long did you wash the print heads? I would try to let them soak for 12 hours do a strong recovery and try again. There is a possibility that the crash could have damaged the head. The other attempt would be to apply the print head cleaning sheet overnight to the print head carriage.

  14. l26500 print head question

Also check above the carriage where it docks. There are 4 rubber nipples that sometimes disappear. They will expose a brass tip.
  15. My Latex Colors Look Like $h*t

We have a L26500 and colours are pleasant. We can still hit coke red. I would check profiles and how the file is ripped.
  16. hp l26500 yellow help

I have seen that situation arise with a few different printers. At our shop, when we designs vector art, we usually turn off all icc profiles to read the artwork as designed. In some of your testing, when we have applied a print profile such as srgb iec or swop v2, we will get a little bit of...
