I would also make sure your vacuum adjustor works correctly if you have the tube model.
Also worn out belt will dramatically reduce the vacuum. Consider getting a new one if it's getting old.
Which model? 1612? Do you know you should align it at the right edge and then adjust the vacuum zone?
It doesn't use the air compressor for it. Only the vacuum pump.

Corrugated plastic works really nice on the R. Ink adheres well and you don’t need any antistatic system or even cleaning the surface which might be the case with some UV.

Oh my god just stop confusing each other.
You have to install the Gosign and use that. You can't import outside files to cutserver with regmarks and expect it to work, it doesn't.
There isn't too much to it. Clean the contacts. Try with the old printhead.
You can also warranty the "faulty" one you have and try with another new one.
It doesn't take longer than 20min if you do absolutely nothing else.
5min open the covers and remove belt tension
10min replace belt
5min apply tension and close covers
Do a little cleaning, check the bearings, remove old grease and add new lubrication etc. 1 hour and 15mins on top to check...
