What resolution are you printing? Your print quality seems similar to me when I print 540x720 on any kind of solid colors. But when I bump it up to 540x1080 6 pass it prints beautiful. It is a quick try to see how the printer is going to react on a little better resolution.

Similar problem occurred on my JV-33 and the problem was capping station aligment and I end up replacing couple of dampers as well. Once I did those voila back to normal.

Oh boy! Down there it was nasty! I thought I was taking care of the machine. lol. There was good size hair or lint I couldn't determine what it was but it was right on the very left nozzles. Thanks for the tips once again!

When we replace the head we replaced all the dampers as well. Missing colors on test draw is random colors. Ink drops just started today. Yes, the machine is being well maintained by me.
