ok so just got off phone with a seal tech and he thinks that there is an issue with the tension from side to side. So let me ask this question for anyone who has a hand crank laminator that doesnt have a gauge? Whats the best way to set the pressure. turn hand crank till you just feel resistance...
I have an S80600 that i am having banding issues. I now have it on 12 pass. I have tried multiple materials along with our in house created profiles and canned profiles. Almost all things printed with 8 pass band as well.
I have done an auto media feed adjust and i also created a new media...
Well i guess it has the roller where i place the brown paper on it when for some reason my lam and material are just an inch off or so. But i dont always have the prints on a roll. There are a lot of times ill just move it up on my table thats in front of the printer for lets say 8 ft of...
I found this video and this is essentially the way i do it but without using the tape as i use a backing knife to cut the backing separate from the laminate. But loading the material straight is the issue here.
ok the printer i use is a S80600. This machine doesn't have an auto cut feature so you have to use a razer blade or knife to cut the machine from the material. now there is a groove to cut in but it hardly ever cuts perfectly straight.
This makes taping the end of the material to the end of the...
On the silicone seams did you just cut to the outer edge of the factory color and then apply black over all of that area where the old silicone was?
Also did you just wrap over the seam filler hard piece toward the back of the bus that looks as it seams the large back panel to the side body...
I will def be giving you a call bc i am not sure how to transition the big rounded side pieces right behind the doors to the top of the cab. Then there is the huge nose cone that is on mine that a lot larger than what is on the one you did. I am sure it would be about the same with maybe a lower...
The one we have has a huge nose cone above the cab. They are also wanting it Matte black as well. Some body spots have to be fixed as the paint is flaking off in a few spots..
Cut slice in backing on laminate.Slide laminate through rollers with roller up and pull snug in the back. While holding with left hand crank down pressure untill it just stops and turn about 1/8 or so of an inch.
Use backfeed button until my cut in backing is about 3 inch out in front of the...
Does anyone have a Seal 65El laminator. I need help with loading straight. It wants to walk. Sometimes more than others.
We have a Epson S80600 so we have to cut the print of the printer by hand using a groove in the printer.. I ruined a 25 ft print just now at about the 15 ft mark.
Looks as the hardest part will be the nose cone above the cab. Would this be easier doing a seam right along the front lower edge. Doing the underside first then doing the top. This way it splits that large contour up?
It was more of the large multi ways contour and its a matte black material over the white as well lol... I was just looking for a tips when i get ready to do it lol..
We have a customer who owns a large car sales dealership. They have bought this bus and want it wrapped flat black with their logos on sides and back. I have wrapped trucks and some cars before but I have never tackled anything like this before.
My main concert is the roof of arra above the...
In need of a little bit of information. I have wrapped plenty of partial side graphics on boats but i have never done anything on top of the front of the bow.
The area above the bumper is where i am talking about. The wrap will not wrap all the way over the top just to the first seam above the...
ok update. If i load material into the cutter or a image with registration marks it is fine. The issue i have happens when lets say you change speed or force. It lowers the head very low to the material and leaves it there it doesn't raise back up to its high height.
Now if you hold the...
3 images.
image 1 is lifted edges or not clean corners.
image 2 is the height when not in use.
image 3 is height when it is registering or between cutting paths
Doesnt matter what i cut, Oracal 3165, Avery 1105, 3m material sometimes oracal solid cut vinyl. The blade is set correctly. I also have an issue with edges of material. Like when i do a test cut for force the edges of the cuts are not neat and it always leaves a corner pulled. Ill add an image...
