Hi,
We need to install some flagpoles and it's not something we normally do.
The total length of the poles are 6 meters (20 foot). They have a 600mm (2 foot) sleeve which is set into concrete. The pole then slides into the sleeve after the concrete is set. So the total height of the pole above...
Any other opinions?
They seem to have been available for a couple of years, not sure why there aren't more out there?
Compared to a Zund?

There's lots of sizes and other options available that obviously affect the price but based on the limited pricing I've had, they seem to be similarly priced to a Zund of the same bed size without the lazer. The lazer on a 10ft x 10ft bed size adds about £30k (GBP) to the price. Not sure about...
Not sure, but as I understand it the lazer bed rolls out over the top of the standard bed, all the way around and attaches to itself to form the complete conveyor. So depending on how that worked that may at least give a clean surface to work on?
Does anyone have an opinion on this machine?
In short, you can use knife based tools, a router and a lazer all on one machine. It has a conveyor bed like a Zund but also a lazer bed which can be added over the top of the standard bed for cutting rolls of fabric or other stuff with the lazer...
We have exactly that model, with the take up, but still use a table instead of the take up. Just find it easier. In fact we have a table in front and behind and place the roll of prints on a device on the front table and let the rollers pull them through. We find there's just more chance to...
Hi,
We're just about to pull the trigger on a Zund G3 and just trying to finalise the last few details (it gets expensive).
We're thinking of going for the 3XL (3.2M - 10ft) width but not sure on the length. Options are 2.5M (8ft) or 3.2M (10ft). The 3.2M adds about 10% to the price but means...
Hi,
We're just about to buy a Zund G3 and are trying to decide what software we use for prepping the files.
We use Caldera for our rip software and my understanding is that Caldera is capable of nesting the cut files, managing the cut paths, creating the necessary reg marks etc for the Zund...
To be honest I do have concerns about purchasing a Chinese laser for commercial use not least regarding safety and legality.
We're in the UK so I imagine any machine would have to conform with EU regulations? Do these Chinese lasers conform?
What happens about extracting the fumes with an open...
I don't think this would be possible. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think there's quite a bit more to it than just bolting a laser to a CNC. If you want router plus laser then Eurolaser and Blackman and White offer solutions for this but they're not cheap.
Hi,
Looking at buying a Zund and considering if a front extension would be helpful / essential / worth the price / floor space? Does it make removing cut items from the machine that much easier or faster?
Does anyone have a G3 or S3 with a front extension and find it a useful feature? Or does...
Thanks for the reply, I hear what you're saying, I'm just not sure whether having to print everything slower (half the speed minimum) is a good trade off compared to the times we'd have to work around the size issue? We do have roll to roll machines and a laminator so can still do 5ft x whatever...
Hi,
We've been looking at flatbeds for a while and are at the point where we need to stop procrastinating and make a decision. Due to various reasons that I won't go in to these are the 2 models available to us.
We want to print all kinds of display related products, Foam PVC, ACM, Acrylic...
