Hi,
For those of you with HP FB machines, did you take out the service contract after your initial warranty expired?
Or do you just pay for repairs / fix it yourself when needed?
Or do you have an insurance policy?
Thanks.
The one we're looking at is the widest bed size (2270mm x 1200mm) and is around £90k, not sure about US prices.
It's hard to spend that much when we could get a much larger DYSS with pretty much every option for less money.
Thanks for all the replies.
So if you're cutting a banner or something long and straight, you get no discernible notches at all where the bed feeds on and the sections join?
Thanks.
Thanks for the reply.
We can go bigger (Kongsberg XN, Dyss X7, Summa F 2630) it just couldn't be a Zund due to the cost.
I would guess that about 50% of the stuff we'd be cutting would be longer than the S3 bed so outsourcing would get expensive.
We'd prefer to go with Zund just not sure if...
Hi,
Anyone have any experience of the Zund S3?
We were looking at the G3 but budget is becoming an issue.
Does the smaller bed length on the S3 cause any issues cutting stuff that's longer than the bed?
When we had a demo, we cut some stuff that was longer than the bed and there was a...
One thing that put us off Agfa is I've read a few people complain about the ink fading pretty quickly outside, to the point they felt they could only use it for internal prints. This was on the UK sign forums so not exactly challenging sunny conditions. I have no experience of it myself though...
I think you should post it on the forum for the benefit of discussion and anyone reading in the future.
That way, at least other owners can agree or disagree.
To be honest it sounds even worse if you don't post it.
It's the 460XT we're looking at.
Really we're looking at 3 printers in that price bracket...
Arizona 460XT
Jetrix KX7
SwissQ Oryx
The Arizona seems to be able to print at about 14sqm/h with virtually no banding. The SwissQ can do the same but at about 18sqm/h. The Jetrix can do this at about...
Thanks again.
So if you had a choice of the Arizona XT with single heads or Jetrix KX7 with double heads for the same price, with a 1 year warranty on the Arizona and a 3 year warranty on the Jetrix, which would you buy for a first UV printer?
Thanks again for the reply Nicky.
So you also run the Arizona? If so, how does the Jetrix compare?
You say you use the Ultrasonic cleaning function on the Oce, is that option not available on the Jetrix?
You mentioned the Jetrix has good adhesion, do you print to Dibond / ACM? Any problems...
Hi Nicky, thanks for the reply.
Have the static issues you had now been resolved? Have you had any other issues other than static?
The quote we have includes the anti-static bars and an antistatic gun.
The 3 year warranty on the heads is for mechanical failure and also accidental damage. Not...
