That is a prompt that has to be reset in your Falcon menu once you clean the waste ink bottle.
I "think" you hit menu when you get the prompt and then one of the other buttons to tell it that it has been changed, a yes/no should show up somewhere. Sorry I can't be more specific as I've only...
I found some Aqueous 50" on Advantage website... Never used this type of banner stock before though.

Does the VJ only work with solvent?.. Also previous poster seems waaaay cheaper then Advantage. :P
For future reference: No you don't need to pull ink from both dampers on each color at the same time. :P
If you have a bad damper one color should start looking like shit, not all of them.
Here is the CMYKparts video on damper replacement, you need this for when you replace the print heads as well...
I haven't been able to find a service manual online anywhere and Mutoh only supplies user manuals on their disfunctional website. However there is this page...
That seems like very silly advice as the capping station is a plastic fixture where the pads are usually the main reason to replace it as they decay or swell up over a long period of time... And the pump is a mechanical and seemingly very durable part that if damaged, can be fixed. If the pump...
Capping station does not have to be clogged for it to stop working...
Your print heads/capping station could be misaligned. Have you "homed" your cap/heads since cleaning them? This is required but also may not solve your problem.
You will know if the two components are aligned correctly when...
Sorry for late reply. That sounds like cross contamination to me. Can solve this by pulling the dampers out and sucking all the ink through til there is no ink left in the damper with a syringe, then put it back in and suck the ink back into the dampers.
Are your pads swollen on the capping...
Figured out that this error comes up depending on the size of your image... Trying to print 13" on 13.25" material is no bueno apparently. Don't have a problem when reducing the size to 10"
Yeah I have reset the home position every time. I did notice that there was some dry ink around the silver lining of the heads so I cleaned that off. Maybe that was the problem with the capping station not getting a good seal. Dunno.
Bow chika bow wow...
I pulled the heads out and inspected everything for the third time, and really took my time making sure everything was aligned properly and not too tight. SUCCESS. Capping station is pulling ink from the heads and my nozzle check is beautiful. Guess the problem was with the...
How do you get a 'tight seal' if there isn't one?
And yes I have had someone help me and push the heads to the right while trying to pull with the syringe.
