I wouldn't jump to any conclusions. There's a long way till there. Also, it doesn't necessarily has to be a cable related problem. There could be cold solder joints around connectors terminals (the ones you've cleaned).

It must be related to the areas where you did the cleaning. Check the ribbon cables so they don't have a bent contact. When taking the main covers off did you encounter any cables? Just try to remember all the steps you've made and try to eliminate the problem one by one.

Check cables at connectors CN400, CN207 on servo board

Make sure that all the cables you took out to clean are connected back in. Probably you forgot to connect one of the cables. The thermistor is below the heater plate but the cables are connected to the servo board.

This looks like a thermistor error. Make sure you've connected all the cables

Do a simple color test like I've described in this post (the last comment I've made): Need Help - Question - No ink getting to dampers I've also attached some pictures to that comment. You can see if the problem is on all channels or just one of them. Just a thought.

The cartridge might have a problem or the ink sensor is not functioning properly. A problem with the ink flow (the sub tank is not filling for some reason).

You should check the auto cleaning menu: Setting Auto Cleaning - Mimaki JV400-130LX Operation Manual [Page 68] 30 minutes is a way too short interval.

You leave the printer on during the night? It might be set to do auto cleaning at 30 minutes interval. Auto cleaning at 30 minutes interval would explain why you lose so much ink overnight.

Hello Todd, you have to change the knife offset in the plotter settings. For the new knife the offset should be around 0.45mm...but you'll have to do some tests. You can read all about it here: Changing The Drag Knife Offset - Summa D120 User Manual [Page 42]
